Merc and party luck..

I've been wondering for a while now, but didn't really get a chance to do any serious experiments yet but have a question in case anyone else has thought of or come across this...

Have you ever had a PT or a Merc with HIGH luck and they're just being boosted- and noticed whether you get more drops overall?

I was wondering if their luck somehow makes the whole PT luckier?
Is there a correlation?
Thoughts?

 

In fact, I believe that merc lowers the drop rate. ^_^

 

Luck is a personal stat , it only affects yourself and nobody else. So what would you think if merc has high luck? It would be treated as another char so its luck wont affect you.

 

The reason I ask is Asobimo often has hidden stats etc in their games... And it was just a nice thing to check out, as I did notice a difference in Party (of ever so slightly) and wasn't sure about merc.

 

I assure you luck wont affect the party, just yourself. That slight difference could've been affected by many other factor such as your party mates storming harder than usual or your roll on rng had been on the sweet side.

You dont have proof on your own either and it's already proven by alot of us base on our own experience that even if you join a pt full of 255 luk mages , you wont get affected by their luk stat. Basically it's a fad done by 255 luk mages who wanna leech off of you and that is why ushio said that rather than getting more loots you get lesset because 255 luk mages barely 1hits mobs not unless they have a fully designed equipment for the mobs they are farming.
Is our explanation not proof enough for you?

Hi @kariin wasn't directed at you, but you might know sort of what I was talking about by tests/experiments.

Do you remember all the boss drop excel sheets,
The maze drops experiments and the luck drop experiments done by various players such as I think it was Mugami etc..

I was just asking if anyone has tested this stuff yet.

Like how we used to test how many slot magic talisman iis we would get from 100 recipes and how luck affected that. Turns out it didn't. (Something to do with maybe using the luck of the BS in Sofya etc)

 

Nobody has properly tested it as of yet. If you want to go about it and test this, go ahead. I don't believe their are any notable differences, but if you feel it's worth testing...go for it.

mercs dont even effect rank when you solo so yea no impact on drop rate luck i presume

 

Well.. .
Without mercs: i get no xtal soloing bosses/minibosses
With mercs: i still don't get xtal soloing bosses/minibosses
Conclusion: Aso has made it its life mission to get me to kms.

Seriously though, since i rarely party and started depending on mercs, i haven't seen/felt any significant boost in drops and droo rate. It actually seems like it got worse, tbh. I don't have actual stats as proof, but I've been doing grylle 80% of the time with and without mercs.
