so.. my friend who ive known for 3 weeks, made from 5m to 50m in 2 weeks.

he said it was from reselling constantly in INT1 sofya

ill clarify that he doesnt have a statter, a refiner or any bs, he just buys stuff and makes small profits constantly he says.

and well he gave me 5m to start with so i can get the same amount as he. but!!

i cant do that as good as he does, i would ask him but he already gave me 5m and i dont want to ask for more.

    how exactly does resells work?

There are a lot of strategies is selling. My guess is your friend just go to mino, buy crap load of skins(with the new guild mama-san you can access storage easy) it is a hit or miss nowadays. Then sell it as bottles. You got exp and money to boot. No need to kill, just need to watch the market and bypass the tax. That is it. You can basically Hussle your way to cap this way.

makes sense, he made money selling mino skins by farming before he started resells.

so i should go to where mino boss is and scout players who sell them for cheap

If that is the only way, everybody will jump that bandwagon and basically end up with you with crap in the pants and not money. You need to be flexible, you can also buy mana event mats and re-sell them in later date. Apps and dyes also a good market, ores and other base material is also good selling items. Side quest items for high end non combat leveling. There is a lot out there. You need to research and study the good stuff. Like materials for a new toilet or bed.

    constant observation is very important.

i tried it myself once, when weapon dye was newly released. that time, Brutal Dragon Swords were very popular and the there was a big gap in prices on the consignment board.
so i bought all the cheap ones and sold them for more, but still less than the ones i didn't buy. after substracting the fee, i still made 500-1000 spinas profit per sword.
next i tried to buy more and go a little higher, but then other people started to invest too, and i didn't have enough capital to keep buying them out.
so i went back to my previous range, making small but steady profit.
but then Decel was put on weekly boost with +50% exp and drop rates, many people farmed it and the supply of swords exploded.
i couldn't buy any more since my bag and storage were full and at the same time the demad was slowly decreasing.
in the end i had to sell the last batch for the same price i bought them, and the fee took half of what i earned before.
    should have backed out earlier.

event limited apps are easier to control, as the supply will not increase until the event returns, but the popular ones cost quite a lot.
you also need to watch out for updates, as any new item can be potentially trendy and vastly decrease the value of your stockings.

the prices of minotaur skins/anti-degradation rise and fall with craft recipe updates.
summer shells are extremely cheap during summer but can be up to 10 times as much worth during times where there is no event that grants easily obtainable mana points.
storage space is gold. when you know how the prices will change, you can buy at low times, wait, and sell at high times.

You buy cheap from ppl who are desesperated or dont know prices and sell for the right price on shout/cb. Some ppl prefer selling on shout to avoid taxes and smart ppl buy exactly for the cb price without taxes.
Ofc you need to have an overall idea of everything that sells well, their prices and money on your pocket to buy it, so when you find something too cheap you must buy it b4 someone else.

As much as I know people do re-selling in real life, I find this method a lazy one and poopy for toram.
Hard work is already much more satisfying for me, But that's me tho~~

You can camp cb and wait to get lucky and find those cheap items people sell but this can be time consuming and sometimes you can stand at cb for an hour and find nothing, unless you buy out mats or xtals and resell higher but I find this risky and profits are very small.

As everyone else said knowing prices for everything is key to being successful. Some people will only check star gems, armor and add gear categories on cb but if you understand most prices you can sift through every category on the cb making chances higher to find something.

During events is the best time to merch and hoard for selling later in my experience, it yields very big profits.
This past black dye event people were selling black armor dyes for as cheap as 50k and add gear dyes super cheap too. Those will for sure go up in the future making profits triple, quadraple.
Hell empress is another example where people were selling book of magic warrior for 100-150k, it's more than a month later and the book price has risen up to 400-500k, already 200-300% profit. Mercy another example, people were selling it's xtal for 200k during the event and now the xtal is worth 900k.

So my point is toram has events throughout the year and makes merching very profitable and consistent if you can understand trends and prices and you don't need to depend on luck or stand at cb all day and scout shout.
Lastly there's always risk involved, sometimes we can buy something and the price doesn't go up like we expected.
