Mononofu Daredevil

Hi guys! Here I go sharing my build again but this time it's for my Katana class. If you are a fan or interested of doing the highest possible damage a Zantei can, then this is not for you. My builds usually focus on quick combos and mobility during combat. This Katana build is a utility type and can still dish out a lot of damage if used right.
Let's start!
First off are My stats.


My Skills
Mononofu - lvl10 Zantei, lvl10 Pommel, lvl10 Bushido, lvl10 Shukuchi, lvl10 Two handed, lvl5 Pulse, lvl10 Hasso
Dual Sword - lvl10 Godspeed, lvl10 Flash Blast.
Magic - lvl1 MP charge, lvl7 Impact
Battle Skills - lvl10 Crit Up
Survival - lvl10 MP Boost, lvl10 HP Boost

I have 19 extra skill points at the moment.
Skills not mentioned in skill trees are either not taken or just at lvl5 for skill requirement.

My Equipment
Katana atk 57+S a3%cd7%cd8cr15 odelon xtal - these stats would put you in between a7çd7cd15 and a7cdcrcr15.
No sub weapon
Armor def 89+C cd7%cd15cr15%cr15 cerberus xtal - heavy remodel. I hate it when the Boss misses during Zantei when wearing light remodel.
Gothic hat 14 twilight dragon xtal - For crit rate. I dont use Meikyo.
Unsheathe Bangle goovua xtal

My Combos (20 CP)
Combo 1 (1mp, 4 CP)
Pulse>Flash Blast(save)>Impact(swift)
Combo 2 (after combo1 or 3 is 2mp, 4 CP)
Zantei>Flash Blast(save)>Impact(swift)
Combo 3 (after combo1 or 2 is 1mp, 4 CP)
Pommel>Flash Blast(save)>Impact(swift)
Combo 4 (after combo 1, 2 or 3 is 3mp, 4CP)
Impact>Zantei(smite)>Flash Blast(cons)
Combo 5 (after combo 1, 2 or 3 is 3mp, 4CP)
Hasso>Flash Blast(save)>Impact(swift)

Combo 1 is my starter to get buff.
Combo 2 is my main dps combo. If I feel comfortable during boss fights, I use Combo 4 for more damage.
Combo 3 is for paralyze debuff which gives a chance to stun when I cast combo 3 again (for breaking parts).
Combo 5 is an AOE attack for mini boss or bosses that are too scared to face me 1on1.

Why Daredevil? I love to be in the redzone as much as I can and bring PAIN to the enemy.

So I showered Ifrid with some "Love" in hard mode.

Paralysis gives 10%stab?

Paralyze doesnt give stability.
Its the paralyze shot, shot skill that gives a buff which increases stability. It just so happens to inflict paralysis on enemy too which has nothing to do with its buff.

 

Thank you for clarifying this. I thought it was the same with para shot. My bad. But the stun is still nice though.

don't worry, tbh i just the same as you when katana first came; maxed pomel strike cause thinking if its same as para-shot buff.

Yes, make it 1mp short-combo with pomel in it is better than using it manually(2mp).
