Most underrated quest

A lot of people talk about Pride of the rich quest and how good it is for early lvling or making some quick spina. Well, I recently completed about 85% of the side quest available in Sofya city and El Scaro(cuz im a noob and quest are fun when you are new to the game imo). I wonder why I didnt hear much about these 2 quest....

Both quest require you to kill Parasitic dogs in Lost Town. Both give a bunch of exp. For example, in 3 hours of farming dogs with a 4 man party(3/4 mages), I went from lvl 60 - 80. Just from Zono's quest alone! I decided not turn in my 4 stacks of Parasite crystals to Lefina, because I was low on spina, and each stack sold for 90k.

So if you need quick exp or spina, look into these 2 quest, as they have quickly become my favorite... As a bonus, I earned 45k beast points by processing all the doggie nails that drop also.

 

in the past, it was not possible to stack and mass-clear quests. you had to go back and forth everytime you reached the required kill count.
any quest that did not include collecting items was considered bad, as you could only do them one at a time.

when the feature to stack quests was introduced, new quest giving NPCs were added to the Garden of Beginning and the majority of players no longer bothered with the older quests.

 

I can see why now. Free from infestors is so easy to do with full party and gives 15 mil exp. At the time I had thought side quest ended at El Scaro, because Coryn club data stopped there for quest.

Still think its a great quest for beginners around lvl 60-90. And if like me, i was struggling to even make 200k spina at that time. Parasite crystals seem to have a stable market value.

 

I don't know if the prices have changed since you first posted, KamiKai, but parasite crystals (as of 2/5/2021) sell for 9 spina. i haven't tried to sell a complete stack yet, but assuming max is 99 (call it 100 for easy math) a stack would sell for 900 spina, not 90K. Certainly better ways to make spina. Perhaps there is a full stack bonus that multiplies cost by 100, and I will certainly edit this post if that is the case.

That being said, I must say the experience is pretty darn good, in my moving from 55 to 65 in just a few rounds of this (dual) quest. Thanks for the post

 

Players can set their own prices for items on consignment board . . are you talking about how much it sells for at npc?

 

Thanks for asking. Yes, I was referring to selling at npc. I was a newer player then. Still am I suppose, when it comes to learning about game mechanics and markets.

 

I'd only bother with quest that's give alot of spina or xp but the problem is I hate fighting those dogs and I've done that quest once before and omg I hate the amount you need to kill. It did not help that I did this solo cause none of my friends are willing to join

 

Oof yeah, the parasite dogs quest have become very obsolete. But there's a lot of people at dark castle area 2 farming the sq free from infestors that you get from the noble's spirit in the garden of beginning. It's very quick to find a party
