Motion speed

Hello.

Does motion speed affect cast speed?
Like, will getting motion speed affect my casting time for guardian/decoy shot/war cry or whatever else?
I'm thinking whether or not it'd be a good idea to use cursed crysta for a tank.

 

nope it doesn't.
cspd and motion speed are two entirely different thing, motion speed are how fast you can execute your actions while cspd is how fast you will cast your skills.

 

CSPD lowers cast time, which is the part you see a countdown timer on bottom of screen. Not all skills can have their cast time reduced, such finale.

Motion speed increases animation speed. By rule of thumb, any part of skill animation that hasn't a countdown timer is directly related to motion speed, the only exception for this I can remember is power shot.

So if by "cast" you mean entire skill animation, then very likely it'll reduce the time it takes to complete full animation, but if you meant the "cast time", then motion speed won't reduce it.

Answering your question, cursed crysta is fine on tanks, since they deal low damage and rely on some pretty slow motion skills such sanctuary and/or guardian.

Cursed crystal is attached in modestia I heard and you get modestia from p ava... The only way to get it now is let the people who has modestia extract cursed crystal out and attached it to a slotted sword and trade it to you and you extract it out for your tank.

Personally i never noticed any difference when using the crytsa
Its long time ago on knuck tank though, i never tested it again since there is better xta out there+My tank can deal some dmg

 

It all depend on how can you perceive the slight different. 5% by no means is that noticeable, but the slower the animation the more noticable 5% motion speed will show the effect

 

I see.. I thought it'd make a big difference but seems not.

Tell me if still need it. I tested it long ago and didn't notice any difference from the 5%. Now, i just use Trigger and swift tag for decoy, sancruary and guardian cast. Both method guarantee max motion speed for the skill.
