MTL

Can anybody please explain to me what MTL is? In the stat dispersing page there’s strength, dexterity vitality etc. Nothing for MTL.

 

It gives ailment resistance, 75% at 255 MTL.

 

see, what I’m looking for on here is a very simple guide. I’m looking for a one handed sword tank that I can build up to become my accompanying friend for my main archer. All the guys on here are so confusing. All I wanna know are what stat points to put into what and to what number. This place is so complicated LOL. By the way, thank you very much for the answer.

 

If you want to be a tank I suggest maxing out VIT stat since it will give you a lot of hp and will increase more as you level up you character. MTL can come later on if you want. For a 1h sword choose toy hammer drop from nightmare potum in the garden of beginning. An important stat on it is +100 critical rate because critical hits always land and can only be evaded occasionally. Another stat you want plenty of is Aggro+% to gain more aggro. In conclusion these are the equipment set I recommend: 1h sword - toy hammer, shield - Esca shield, Armor - plate armor/Brigandine/player made armor with aggro10-15% , additional - charm belt, talisman/ring - dark fighter bangle/Guidance lantern. Because every single detail matters. For mercenary builds, you'll need alot of accuracy since their attacks don't crit and it will miss alot, Attack speed(1.1k recommended)so it will stay on attacking the target and not run around too much...

 

If you're gonna use it as a mercenary accompanying then go Vit. I'm pretty sure ailment resistance doesn't work on mercenaries.

 

Aww i know this is an old post. But none of these guys explained what MTL is in a simple way and how you get it. But i found another post where someone explained it in a very simple manner. I'll just put it up incase soe other newbie like me wants to know too.

Well its quite difficult for newbies who are new to the game and have no one guide them.
Yes some can instantly figure out stuff cause of their experience with other mmmorpg or rpg games but there are some who are new to the concept..

The thing about this forum is that its cap/end-game player centric , leaving a few aside almost all the answers of the experienced players are too complex or for end-game/cap players..

Yesterday too i saw a post about a new player asking tips on a bow build or something.
And an old member of the forum gave him a really complex build along and when the new player told about him being new to the game, the old member just told that the new player should stop creating such a fuzz and
