My DW is so weak could you make a recommendation?

I usally play tank or a pure glass canon like a helberd. But recently my guildie told me to try DW since it sort of balance between damage , high mp regen and suvival( with some skills)

Anyway , I try and I sort of like it at the begining. But more and more I play , it becomes so frustrated. I dont have PCR sword so I can barely hit boss/mini boss that has a strong guard. Currently my SC hit vene NM at 100k-200k per hit if I am lucky but in general it is 60-100k (I am already lvl 178)

my current equipment is

Main: FC 19 sword +B NS (Im waiting for lvl 200 to upgrade my gear)
Sub: Ele sword npc craft (water, fire , dark)
Arm: FC 19 + Onlarf
Add : Wing cape NS
ring : Muscle talisman + Vene

My guilde is to create high ampr, high avoid and some decent damage.

Maybe Dual Wield is not your playstyle, there are ways to make it powerful but there are some things you'll just need to know before making one.
Even though the game says to put DEX, most of the time STR and AGI are better, unless you use Sword skills or Storm Reaper. A lot of Dual Wielder's damage comes from their subweapon, and getting that subweapon to +C or better will help you a lot with damage.
Dual Wielders benefit a lot from Physical Pierce, since otherwise high defensive enemies and bosses will completely nueter the amount of damage you can do.
Avoid is kinda mediocre, and I wouldnt recommend using it as the focal point of the build if you want to focus on damage.

Otherwise, I would likely tell you something completely different because that's what I do, if you want a meta build you might want to do some research into builds on Youtube for that since they are all basically the same with one little twist. Do what you like, not what you think you should like.

Show ur stat, so we can know what stat you use and what is your possible damage dealt.

 

currently Full agi and rest is Str.
My current atk is around 1790 (or something like that)
Flee about 800
aspd is 2000 something almost 3000 (but with all the buff it can go up to 5-6k)

I was farming at Alto earlier and SC is about 120k per hit. Current lvl 182.

 

I use Agi & Str stat. I dont use strom reaper. My main dps skill is SC. So from what I understand it wouldnot be good if I dont have PCR?
My sub is at + E at the moment that might be the reason

 

1. when come to nm mode, boss defense is higher thus no matter how high your Cridamage, the DPS still is lower after deduct mob def&resistant. Try Change FC weapon to ATK/PPierce boost weapon.

2. Berserk reduce your stability 25%. If you use WW you should have around 3K ASPD, it’s enough already. Reduce stability directly reduce your damage, thus some player using Snowman on Head increase stability to increase attack damage.

3. Alto is high defense mob, I try use before +B toy gun and +B Rescue Glove, although +B rescue give higher ATK but toy gun deal more damage. Now you lack of PPierce so I guess 120k is normal for your current equipment. You can try amoeba machine for damage testing purpose and play style learning.

Lastly hopefully you understand why choose STR+AGI but not the other.

 

okay ,I will try using assasin grab + squirel tail + hand made cookie.

That should give me 35% physical p. and 30 cri rate. I only use berserk to increase cri rate ;^;

 

.....the reason why PCR and Toy Gun is Famous not only because it's have 50%~70% Physical Pierce, it's because it's have...
- Higher Attack
- Do not require other gear/equipment/crystal to reach 50%~70% physical pierce.

If you scarified other gear just to pump your Phys-Pierce, this just make you become more weak than normal build.
Example your BASE ATK is 1000, and compare Bear Hat+WW with Squirrel Tail+HCookie

Example Mob Defend is 200
Bear Hat = [ATK * ( 1+ATK% )] - Mob Defend = [1000*1.10] - 200 = 900
Squirrel= ATK - [Mob def * PP/100] = 1000 - [200*0.8] = 840
** Although Bear Hat+WW give only ATK+10% but the damage output still is higher than using squirrel+HMC (20% PP) **

Example Mob Defend is 500
Bear Hat = [ATK * ( 1+ATK% )] - Mob Defend = [1000*1.05] - 500 = 600
Squirrel = ATK - [Mob def * PP/100] = 1000 - [500*0.9] = 600
** Now Squirrel Sets only can have equal damage with Bear Hat set **

So PCR Good = Physical Pierce Good = more PP is more Good~~~~~ only correct when battle with high def mob. and I not recommended using Assassin Garb and Handmake cookie especially you are AGI+STR DW, which using FC19 and Yashiro Dad will give you more damage.

 

There is no luck if u get 100-200k dmg many ways to increase ur dmg prorate for example. That's normal if u not have high dmg with ur current equipment.
I use berserk too to increase my crit rate, keep rampage still on(cuz I use rampage for ampr and easy way to use AAC), and increase aspd, I can reach 9k aspd with giga speed+quick Aura. I think -stab debuff from berserk only inflict the main weap. BTW DW have low accuracy, so if DW fight nm+ diff boss the dmg will graze, thats why I use berserk.
