Need help for tank build

Recently i got phalanx arm and shield, so im thinking of making 1h shield tank, and now i just need weapon, add , gear and some xtal, any suggestion abt that? And where do i put my stat? Vit>mtl or Mtl>vit? And i need some skill build also, all help are appreciated^^

 

Here is my suggestion:
For the stat,just go for the Vit>Mtl cus as more lvl cap open,we can fill both anyway

And the equips:
Weap: Toy hammer (Hero Potum/Evil magic sword/Zahhak Machina) Dropped by Nightmare Potum
Sub: 3rd Anniversary Shield VII or Dark General Shield (Dropped by Imitator)
Arm: Lil Emp garb (Daddy Finpen/Arcoiris/Ifrid) Dropped by Venena,break required
Add: Circle of Order (Candela 2/Dusk Machina/Yashiro Azuki Mom)
Ring: Dark Fighter Bangle (Tapir/Titeres/Crystal Golem/Memecoleus)
*Bold=My recommendation (especially if you only have 1s)

Also,using barrier as way to tank is really really bad idea.Tanks depends heavily on resistance,not barrier.
I suggest to ref your shield first since it has the most impact on your Guardian skill
