Need updates on what going on in Toram

As the title said, can anyone fills me on how many things and stuff that I missed and how the condition of Toram mostly
I have retired long time ago (I think during the first release of Demonic Quasar) and I've been thinking of returning since i do notice that its on steam now.
Since I'm blind as a bat now on how things going on, please do help me with the infos (price list, economy condition, class build, nerfs you name it)

 

a new branch of knight and priest skills have been added.
asobimo published a game guide. nothing new though, except that forming a party with other players increases drop rate based on the level difference between party members.
tier 5 skills got delayed, but supposedly release at the end of this month.
all the botters got wiped out when the system requirements were raised, but soon after someone found out how to configure emulators with higher specs and now they are back. although not as many as before.
many things are on the update list, but experience told not to expect anything anytime soon.
overall, it's still the same game. if you didn't enjoy it back in the day, then you likely won't now either.

 

Oh neat, mind if you let me know the new skills and what they do in short summary?
Speaking about skill, what about skill books (Ninja,unarmed, etc) are they worth or nah?
Gameplay wise, I do enjoy. I think I quit back then because of market and too much boss spam fractionals combined with Burnout

When they introduced new measures against bots and even against alt accounts the prices of things slowly went back to normal imo, so those with higher level luk farmers can mostly get more spina now without competing with bots.

 

So the market is slowly healing and stabilizes itself, that's good to hear.
Okay aside from market, how the levelling goes? do i have still to masskill pain in ass miniboss which only gives you like 0,2% exp or we have enough boss to cover lvl range? (something like Venena) I still remember mass killing Mithurna Lynx and their frac spam

 

For bosses, I think after Finstern ult you go to Kuzto ult till 228, then the pain in ass miniboss for srd dps espectro till 231 and then Arachnidemon ult till cap which is also a pain for srd dps. Wait if I look closely kuzto and Finstern also give srd dps a pain......




Aaaanyway, it's getting better, but still painful I think.

 

I suppose it safe to assume that ranged attack such as Finale, CF and DT still dominates the game

By the way, is the skill book (unarmed,darkness,etc) is good? if yes, on which dps or support it usually used?
Sometimes i do see a mention that some of these skills is going to be revamped.
If i recall, people usually takes dancer for Elegant Pose I-frame as tank, and i saw some used unarmed skill as fractional tank that can eat full Venena laser. As for rest of books, i have no idea

 

darkness skills are popular among physical dps builds. especially dual wield and 2hs use soul hunter a lot. not very sure about physical builds though so i'll leave it at that.

tanks usually use perfect defense from knight skill tree. elegant poise isn't very useful for high level bosses because they tend to spam ailments which makes elegant poise unusable.

 

Elegant poise is still very useful for 100% ailment resist tanks, especially on ones without much absolute ailment attacks.

 

Unless boss spams absolute ailment, full mtl will still allows you to use it
Also speaking about skillbooks, what about Ninja? this one is new and apparently the scrolls can be made by players too

ninja is pretty popular for farming using vortex. not sure about other uses.

 

I guess that means Vortex+Storm with MD to farm stuff. Does Vortex have more damage than Storm?
If yes, is it possible for Vortex to beat Dive Impact (HB) in term of damage? since I use Halb Luk to farm high level mobs where Storm can't 1 hit them

 

No, Dive impact is still better, with more damage and more range on 2nd hit, as well as cheaper build.

 

Ninja is pretty good and decent on certain builds that can equip scroll as sub, but katana should benefit the most from it, since katana can equip ninja scroll sub without any penalties from 2 handed passive, it can give a useful teleport skill and from what I remember certain ninja scrolls can give absolute crit attack skills, forgot the skill name though.

 

Damn, that sounds neat. Finally, a sub wep that won't crash katana performance. Quite interesting.

Okay this one probably the last one, what about the price of primes and piercers stuff?
I assume it also goes up since the economy is slowly healing, but i have no idea how much
