Negative resistance

I didn't wanna make a separate post about this but I can't figure things out on my own.

I wanna know how will this negative water resistance 75% affect the damage i take from water element bosses using numbers.
Say without this armor a water boss can deal 10000 damage to me, so if i put this armor will the boss deal 10000 + 7500 = 17500 damage to me?
P.S it's for my tank
Also I couldn't find any guide for knuckle tank and what skills or equipments to use anywhere. I couldn't even find "tank" in the classes section

 

Lez say if you are up against water elem boss and have -75% resistance so u took 1000 dmg ur dmg will increase to 1750 and after than 30% refine reduction will.apply and physical magical resistance given ur arm and add gear is +S

 

So simply put
I take 75% more damage from water elemental bosses? I probably won't refine to S but to B

 

That only apply on water element bosses/mobs. To them you be more than buck naked. But other elements it is just fine. For me lil devil garb is very useful for that insane aspd, but i wont tackle any light elem since even the smallest of mobs can kill me(talking about sun burn is an understatement)

 

Yes well not 75% around 40% give or take since phy mag resistance and refine resistance will reduce overall dmg.

So do you think if i wanna use it for my tank.
Is it wiser to use this or the npc one?
This has more mp, resistance and ampr, but the npc one has less nega resistance

 

How about using the new armor from kuzto for water elem bosses and this for others

 

There is no such thing as one size fits all in toram(coz it be mediocre at best)

 

That arm has -ve aggro though, not really ideal for a tank, honestly speaking armor resistance by refine , good hp and a steady hand is battle is all u need. No need for fancy gear and complicated gear sets , no matter what equips u use you will be spamming p.def and sanctuary anyways . Oh and yeah there is no forum here about tanking, so I may make one in the near future
