New DW update!!! (150lvl skill buffs)

    Hey all, as we see on news tomorrow DW skills will be take some cool buffs. So I open this topic to share our ideas and experiences.
    PATCH NOTES
    -Cross Parry
      
    Also reduces magic damage and unable to inflict Tumble while the skill is in effect.  
     
    - Spinning Slash   
    Dual Element (One-Handed Sword) is added.  

    - Phantom Slash   
    Dual Element (One-Handed Sword) is added. You can release the invincible mode and go on to the next action by controlling the character to left or right while attacking.
     
    - Flash Blast   
    Dual Element (One-Handed Sword) is added. Additional attack is activated when using "Shadowstep" while the skill is in effect. Also, the effects that affect the next skill (those that Astute and Trigger Slash have) does not affect the attack done by evasion.

    This what we see on notes.
    Now i try to explain how they will works and how can we use this buffs for making our swords better.(As i understand.)

    Note: Sorry for my english. I try to explain correct as much as i can. :(
    Note:With this post i want to share some good info to dw players about new update. But i won't post for a while because i see i give some misinformations... to prevent this i will test more and more and even more. I hope i back with good infos to share here.

    First of all i will use wisdom of @TheXIIIthGuy. I did not ask to share his analysis. I hope he dont get angry to me (Im sorry) ..
    Cross Parry
    MP cost: 100
    Skill constant: 50 + 5 * skill level (100 at level 10)
    Skill multiplier: 1 + 0.01 * skill level (1.1 at level 10)
    Effects
    - Applies a first buff that gives Physical Resistance +10% at level 1, Physical Resistance +28% at level 5 and Physical Resistance +90% at level 10; lasts 4 seconds
    - If hit by a physical attack while the first buff is active, applies a second buff that gives ATK +1% and ASPD +10% per level (total of ATK +10% and ASPD +100%); lasts 30 seconds
    - Skill has a 5% to Tumble for each level (total of 50% at level 10)
    Usage
    This skill is weird: it gives a bunch of nice buffs, but you have to constantly reapply it by getting hit, and the animation is sloooooooow. And if the boss uses magic attacks only, you'll never get to use it. Oh well, blame the devs, not me.

    FIRST EXPERIENCES

    CROSS PARRY OP!! I tested on yeti. Yeti has flinch,stun and tumble attacks. I used cross parry and let yeti attack to me. None of that effects doesnt work (tested several times until maintance.) plus i get bonus buffs. You have to parry attack instantly. After you used cross parry there is no timer. Which means damage reduce buff lost after animation end. I think Cross parry is a good combo starter or closer atm.

    SINGLE PS COMBO FAILED...??(i don't know why.)
    Spinning slash - Warcry(save) - Flash blast(cons) - Shadow step(cons) - Impact(cons) - PhantomSlash(smite) - reflex(swift).

    I use this combo, it was %100 crit success. But after maintance it started to not deal crit. Firstly i though flash blast's active using shadow step's crit bonus. But after I use Shadow step - Phantom slash(smite) - Impact(cons) it has %100 crit success(while flash blast buff active) It may because issues after maintance, even my combo skill doesnt following each others. for example after spinning slash, warcry didnt cast 2-3 times.

    Nah it's all good lol. But I'm planning to cover the entirety of the changes in a different thread, so some of your experiences will have an explanation.

    this is the new system, step buff disappears a lot quicker than before, this is not a bug. you can't "stack" step buff to 2 skills anymore. sad

    yep i noticed after i stop using impact... seems wont be able to use this anymore. need new solutions.

    I notice just now ps didnt crit after shadow step. Is it a problem?

    well, step buff only gives +50% crate to begin with.. and with dw mastery and dw control, that's plus 15 crate, that makes it 65% crit chance, so there's still a chance of you not getting it crit hit. heck even i who have 96% crate sometimes doesn't crit on ps after step xD

    well, i mean +50% cr as in flat crit lol, so it's +200%cr = +50 cr :)

    Ahhh ok ty. Then, is it ok if i use berserk fornsave tag cuz i heard it got nasty debuff and im not yet 150.

    hmm, i actually don't know… but i know that ppl don't use them because of stability debuff which is bad, but if you need the crit buff then sure, tho i wouldn't recommend getting berserk for crit rate, since you can easily get crit rate from equips

    actually i meant there is a base cri of 25.
    25+50+15 =90
    With about 10cri from equipment, it is almost 100% cri after ss

    dw base cri is only 15% with dw control and dw mastery both at lv10

    No. Base crit is 25 if you don't use the CRT stat. With Mastery and Control both at level 10, you essentially have Critical Rate +10%, turning that base to 27.5

    Aww. i thought it was 10 absolute cri... so basically dw has 27% (round down)
