New level 3 skills?

Just making a thread because I don't see any discussion about them. Has anyone tested them? How do you feel about new skills and their potential?

 

Slide is a fun skill

 

I think swift attack only reduces by 100mp, I’ll take it though. Also slide is dope!

 

Maybe you haven't maxed the skill?

does slide range increase as u level up the skill? rn shukuchi is better for me cuz sliding is lvl 1 and only activates at >8m from enemy

 

Slide is good when sukuchi not available because of slow.

Chariot gonna be a relic in the bast with the existence of gorilla BS or maybe not.

Guardian Beam is great!
farming with Finale is more stable now, as it will shoot down mobs before they flinch you.

it doesn't do anything when nothing attacks you, but if minions chase you you can hit them all while still casting magic on the boss.
it's like a mobile magic wall with 10 single target shots in 8m range.

 

Yup it's great for miniboss farm + normal mob + mutltiple boss farm i loved it

 

Don't like how guardian beam and slide are main weapon reliant q.q

 

At least they put a big line on top of hybrid builds.

 

It’s 6m and give you SLV*10 accuracy until next skill is used.

 

All of them are main only, as Sword doesnt allow you to use it with DW, Shot skill doesnt allow Arrow, and the others has "Main" on it. This is good so some weapon pairing get buffed from it, and restricts abuse from hybrids. I would so abuse Guardian Beam on my Knuckle MD and Bouncing Blade on my Bowkatana (which would be so nice honestly).

A 1h2h - Swift Attack - good Impact-like skill for 1h2h for non-tanks. You already had Rage sword and technically Deadly Spear but this is useful for those who dont want to use them. The only thing is that you need to lv10 it to get the full impact effect. Still cheaper than Impact (22sp) and Deadly Spear (13sp). This does seem a bit better for 2h than 1h though.

B Bow/Gun - Fatal Shot - good amounts of damage for how low the cost is. It seems designed more for Bowgun than Bow, but it is fairly good filler and the crit rate is always nice against crit resist. Otherwise the tap time increase is okay.

S Knuckles - Slide - Extremely good 1mp skill. When shukuchi doesnt work out or you need a quick run in during a combo without doing much it is very good at it's job. I would put this beside backstep for amazing repositional skills and filler.

A+ Katana - Bouncing Blade - It's Impact-Magadachi. It doesnt do much else but be defensive and give you impact buff for 1mp, it's very good since you save on Impact at the cost of proration.

A- StaffMD - Guardian Beam - It's the best defensive-esque skill magicians have. It gives you passive damage while you cast other things and can potentially help you kill things while you cast an AOE.

A Halberd - Buster Spear - It's another range skill for halberds, if they didnt already have enough options. It does good damage for the MP cost and really can be used as DPS when you cant use DT.

 

I heard you have to successfully counter to lower mp cost. Pretty hard to use then.

I wouldn't give a 6m dash skill S. It doesn't do much tbh

 

That’s precisely why it’s great for making combos. It’s cheap, fast, doesn’t affect proration, and gets in close all in one. It’s a very good combo opener

 

I would, as it has helped me much more than Backstep ever has but Backstep is still very good, plus, it is one of the best nuetral fillers as if the boss happens to start moving away before your AOE it will bring you to them. It is also good for the tight window you have to use Goliath Punch. If you run a ranged Knuckles char, it is also good to make a quick up close shot during a combo. I've always prioritized mobility and sometimes Shucuchi doesnt work enough of the time.

 

sorry im gonna be online in a few hours but im curious now while i still remember, what does slide do? and what skill tree is it in? and what are all the new skill trees?

 

Martial knuckles main only.

Slide into melee range of an enemy, boost accuracy.

 

oh.....doesnt sound all that good to be honest.
