New P. Avatar Last Stage KTN dmg?

I’m having trouble doing dmg with the new P. Avatar’s last stage. Is it because of high defense? Resistance? Both?

Tenryu just does 1 dmg and Magadachi or Garyou keeps getting guarded to 1 or Evaded. Any suggestions?

I know the dmg cap is 2000.

 

It's both, and also because P.ava has high evasion and guard rate.
The best party in farming P.ava would be having a dps that can inflict dizzy ailment to reduce guard and evasion by half, a dps with dazzle ailment(hb with dive impact) to reduce graze, and dps with gatling dagger with high physical pierce to reach max 2000 cap per hit of gatling knife, I let my luck halberd use proto clarity ohs and got meteor breaker and gatling knife, this way I could use meteor's dizzy ailment and proto's 70% physical pierce+30% pierce from eq stat and buffs enabled me to reach max 2k gatling knife damage per hit on last phase if not guarded/graze, with luck the pt could finish the run in under 1 min.

 

With katana you should use hasso. Because the hits do independent dmg (unlike tenryu) each one of them can hit the dmg cap. Hasso has 4 hits so you can do 4*2000 dmg with one use. Ofc you need high pierce on top like aria mentioned

 

1 Damage? Maybe from a Guarded attack. Gryou with ignite skill activated should have 100% pierce, so if it's 1 damage there's something wrong. Also as general advice minds eye is helpful. Doesn't help with guard/evade though.

 

You need physical pierce

I have max anticipate and guard break, but it doesn’t seem to be working as it should.

I didn’t try Hasso, so hopefully that will work.
