I'm trying to make a stat formula but there's something that I don't understand yet, I tried filling the same stats using a simulator but with different steps/methods and I found out that there's something that is affecting the remaining potential before I fill in the final stat.
    i.e.,
when I do the method A it gives me 70 remaining potential before filling the last slot,
but with method B it gives me less remaining potential even though they have the same stats being filled in..
    what makes it like that?
Also, is there a thread where I can see the furthest amount of how stats can go? The first time I tried making a formula I filled Nat.MPRegen-10% but later on I learned that the furthest it can go is -5%. It'd be really helpful since I'm just starting to learn how to fill stats.

For first question, it's probably penalty. Using more than one stat of same "block" (e.g. critical and critical damage are on same category, same block on statting menu). For more than one stat you get a penalty of 5*N^2% (N=Number of stats of same category) on final potential value, for both negative and positive values. So if you do same stats, with different penalties in each step, you definitely may get different potential values.

For second question, you can just try stat an item in game and check how much you can put before statting the item. If your bs is capped and has all tier 4 bs skills, thats max currently value possible atm.

Also I use the simnuator and I would say take it with a pinch of salt it’s not 100% accurate and that’s where experience comes in. So as a guide is to get accustomed to stating using stats where mats are easy to get so you can get the hang of it try different stuff, so when you do it seriously for yourself or for others you will less likely to mess up

Yeah. Usually stats with % and just flat amount has different cap value.
