Newbie: Buying Mage gears

Looking for budget gears for my mage.

My current mage level is 164 and this is my first character and I'm looking for staff and armor that has reasonable price and reasonable stats for leveling. Since my damage is super low.

Hoping that someone can sell me gears.

 

This is general so you're in a wrong place. For gears, you can try to hunt in CB. Several old gears are sold for cheap(im7%i13).

 

You can search cb for mage equip.
I'm not sure what you're budget is but I'll just say old mage stats are really cheap and still pretty decent to start off with.
A 2s adv garb with int 7% and matk 7% is around 400k-1m, or you can go for a one slot armor with newer stats matk 10% int 10% int 20 which sells for around 700k, you can probably find it cheaper.
For weapon try search for 4th anniv staffs on cb, I'm sure you can find a good low budget deal on an out dated stat.
Stats you want is matk7-10% int 7-10% and int+14-20 and try get a staff with at least refine +B
For adds gear there's plenty of cheap options, sorcery hat 1s is cheap last time I checked and for ring a ns dark magic talisman or machina ring are good and cheap options.

If this sounds too expensive then buy one thing at a time and save for the next item. Buying a whole bunch of gear at once can be too costly.
