Right now the whole combo system is a huge mess so I wouldn't say sticking with any particular skill yet

 

I'm still leveling it, currently level 54(my main is level 182, just barely enough for level 4 DW), I allocated the stats to STR, is that correct? For skills, I just leveled max Shining Cross and Phantom Slash. Is this also correct?

 

Have shining cross is fine, but phantom slash is rarely used cause it is heavy survival skill. For stats allocation, DEX first for most damage, then either AGI for sub weapon bonus or STR for crit dmg bonus. If you are already have STR, then focus back on DEX then go on STR as 2nd stat

It's made for those who are trying the class out or what a simpler breakdown of skill.
It's newcomer friendly, vet refreshers, easy breakdowns, but not for the mathematical formula I NEED DPS BIG NUMAHS CLICKBAIT LOL people

The guide will be irrelevant if
A. A new skill for the DW skill tree that's broken
B. They revamp DW or skills in general (imbalance, over buff, etc)
C. Change formulas again
D. New overall mechanic changes ( things similar to combo system overhaul/rehaul to my knowledge they ended up reverting back LOLz* )

@Riskiye TLDR read it and ask questions in the thread if you need it. There won't be a major update due to DW at this point in the game haven't really been any major changes. Regardless if people are saying XYZ that x is op or Z has so many invincibility skills.
Read the Guide. Ask questions if you're curious or need help understanding something.
