newbie mage ask

+ do matk have ele damage bonus
+ good equip for mage build
+ how to build burst mage as my burst damage suck( around 50-60k) ( my lv165)
side question : is ktn have bug as my char keep rolling after use skill

 

matk wont have ele damage bonus until u use ele equips
if u gonna use finale only then u dont need too much matk tho its good to have high matk
but if u wanna focus on burst too then have great cspd which will help u spam like crazy , like 7k cspd will make burst insta cast

i like this build best burst one imo
watch other ones of akakuro to learn more
as for the katana its a feature i guess

 

can i also ask how to get good galting gun damage for hb as my only 15k damage it hit ( I already max out dagger tree)

 

dagger skills benefit more from constants and passive effects rather than high atk power.
the dagger's weapon atk adds to the skill power, STR DEX and AGI increase the multiplier of gattling knife.
amazing throw and double stab can double the hits and damage, for a total of 4x the original power.

 

It's a bug, you can still Unsheat-slide with other katana skills. only Auto Attacks are bugged.

 

Well burst kinda sucks imo, needing such high cast speed for insta cast makes a viable burst build cost way too much spina, and by viable I mean full 2s equip with elemental weapons and armor and even if you spend 300m on equip you won't touch an elemental hb, 2h, dw, katana, bow and even a chariot spam knux build and if those classes aren't elemntal they'll probably still beat an ele burst build or be on par.
Mage is so so bad in this game unfortunately, the only magic skill tree in toram is designed so poorly and if it were me who made this game I would have made more than one skill tree for magic (I don't count wizard skill tree because nothing there is good except one skill for farming).
Physical dps has so many skill trees but mage just one, it's really stupid and makes things like proration in random parties terrible, if there were more mage skill trees that were good enuf too compete with all the physical skill trees then toram would be so much more balanced and diverse.
Anyway I completely digressed from the topic of this thread and didn't answer your questions very well.

Everyone else seemed to answer the other questions but I'll say for Gatling equipment is important I think, I'm not sure what your equip is but usually I can get around 250k-300k each hit if I'm using halberd with double stab passive which gives a 100% dmg boost on gatling when I evade succesfully.

If your damage is very low, 18k as u said then look if you grazing boss , if you not using dbl stab then maybe implement it into your build, and then of course get the best weapon you can, ref+B if possible with a slot and xtal.

And yes katana has a bug, well I hope it's a bug since asobimo has made no effort to correct it, it's been like this for two weeks and nothing has been done to fix it. Hopefully this Thursday's update will correct it.

 

if main dps is burst you need
-7750 CSPD
-High Pierce
-3k or more MATK (better use srd or ele for more dmg after 3k MATK)

i would say burst mage is luxury build if you want to beat finale. but burst mage is strongest current mage for high end build

 

i remember some video about dagger skill, double stab buff doesn't apply on amazing throw.
double stab active after evade monster attack. that's mean no buff if no aggro.
