old smite tag will back lol

    not really. just use other skill as combo starter like moeba shot, leave those proration to other party member to balance it.
    only your damage is low because proration it doesn't mean you have bad dps, dead dps is the bad.

    well im a dw and have been using backstep at start of combo and mid combo(for buff skills in a long combo) as a no tumble and anti-hallu spore method(yea im not rich) against bosses and if the new smite tag forces u to use long combos with combo interrupt skills like backstep, there are chances that you may accidentally backstep into an aoe that u didnt know was behind you(ik pretty dumb yeah) also the thing thats actually harder to do with the new smite tag is soloing bosses cuz even if you use backstep to prevent dying in mid combo, the aggro is on you(unless u have sneak atk while using tank merc then yea u might just have just solved this problem entirely) and most bosses are gonna move towards you so you might not have enough time to run away to pause combo unless u use slow skill bfr backstep but the only slow skills come from shot, magic, knight and dagger trees which arent really practical to use cuz of weapon requirements except hb user and dagger mage (maybe assault attack can work as well) or you can use interruption skills(flinch,tumble,stun) but we all know the risk of doing that for some bosses....

    i know solo isnt a thing thats encouraged cuz toram is an mmorpg but there are some event bosses(especially this halloween event) where you might only need the quest reward upon defeating the boss and theres no other player there......

    well im ok with the new smite but im just upset that asobimo has not allowed us players to increase the range from the camera to our character enough to see enough whats goin on behind us!

    NO, I meant the MP cost reduction - Combos will be more expensive (Although only by 1-2 MP in most cases)

    Yeah. Bow dont really need the mp halving effect altho its appreciated. I have a bow tamer/support that dont have enough sp to take impact and it operate with no problem even with minus ampr from quick motion and using high mp support skill alongside cf n snipe as dps.
    Edit : I dont have ktn character, but a few friend with it didnt even take impact. Maybe depends on build i guess.
