Pet based question

    So i have these 2 pets i wanna fuse em in future im working on tank pet build
    So my question is i wanna make first aid rage atk max mp 3 skill tank pet build.
    So does 1st aid works with devoted pet
    How long does it takes lvl1 passive skill to cap i mean exact kill count?
    And is Vit agi perfect stat for aggro holding tank pet.

    I also just started so sorry if iam wrong, need to ask Xiavu honestly.
    Yes first aid works for any pet, with devoted it also will stay near you when you down, thats good right ?
    Do you have third pet ? Because if you want first aid, rage attack and mp gain you need your above pet for its mp gain and bottom pet for its rage attack then inherit both skill (one at a time) to the third pet which you pick first aid for first skill.
    But maybe just take absorb hp for above pet and cover from bottom pet and pick first aid on 3rd pet then gacha your rage attack(since its below first aid hope you are lucky)
    Iam using bow, even starter with full vit can hold aggro (its spam rage attack,just lvl 3) and can hold my mage finale (just -aggro from staff and food level 7 no sneak)
    It takes 10.000 kill maybe ? I think someone said that.

    You need 1 pet with max mp.
    Then 1 pet with rage atk or first aid.
    After the skill get max lv, fuse them. And the fused pet will get 2 inherited skill.
    The new fused pet then can learn the rest skill you want

    What I observed while leveling pet skills.
    +1 lvl = 300kills
    +2 lvl =600 kills
    +3 lvl= 1200 kills
    +4 lvl=2400 kills
    +5 lvl=4800 kills
    It gets doubled every +1 lvl.
    So for 1 to 5 u'll need 9300 kills. If u calculate from lvl 1 to 10 it'll be 306900 kills.
    It's better if u start at lvl 4/5. And the pet must hit each mob atleast once to get the skill exp unless the pet is gentle/timid(without long range weapon) nature.

    So the plan is cover and mp boost for inheritance then first aid and pray it go south for rage attack or pick rage attack and pray it have first aid. As stated above, it works but it got issues.based on my experience my devoted pet keep aggro and keeps the aggro. 2nd if you die a fair distance you better have that merc work as medic, if you are in range you pet will prioritize tanking than healing due to the nature and will stay alive due to first aid skill. Bit of a head scratcher i know. Even if the rage attack is off, it will prioritize tanking and land hits to the target.(yup, rage is in the nature lol)
    About the level, it is a cringe starting on lvl1 specially on the skills of the outer ring. It be hell of a grind, and it is better to start a new or just wing it with a lvl6-7, and hope the next fodder will be good.

    tried with 11 pets didnt get mp i was planning to get rage atk from one and mp boost from another then acquire first aid as start skill having 3 skills to work with
    well even if i cant get lvl 10 lvl6 is more than enough.
    Cover is unecessary i mostly use gsw so i die regardless of cover.
    hp absorb is so so.

    If you plan to use first aid and rage together best not to rely on devoted. They are just too aggressive to take aggro to be a medic. If you plan to die anyway best to grind first aid as legacy and get one of the top 4 evader nature. Landing a capped rage attack is enuf for the general tanking job. Imho sturdy is your best bet.

    there are 2 types of pet tank

    Devoted - this pet always in near boss and highest aggro.
    Ideal Skill (independent build)
    -Inherit 1 = Absorb HP
    -Inherit 2 = Absorb MP
    -1st skill = Rage Attack
    -2nd skill (gamble) = First aid

    Gentle - this pet can spam support skill and perfect ideal for cover user (so this pet act as HP extension/Damage Absorb)

    Ideal Skill
    -Inherit 1 = Cover
    -Inherit 2 = Resist UP
    -1st Skill = First Aid or Buff Skill (encourage or clear mind)
    -2nd Skill (gamble) = Same as 1st skill (vice versa)

    And last sturdy stats is 15% all phy res/mag res/atk%/matk%

    Got a few questions:

    1. Do "Armour Break" & "Sweep" both work on a timid pet?
    1b. If it does, does weapon type matter?

    2. Does Medpot's (ie: Meditating Potum) double-tap still give "gentle pet" the 40 mp, too?
    2b. Or, it has to atk, to get the initial 40 mp?
    2c. If this is unkn, I'll test it in 2-4 days (when I have Timid & Justice versions ready. ^_^)

    3. Which skillset is better for support role (for Katana-Mage):

    (Assume Medpot's double-tap involved)
    • Skillset 1:
      • Healing Circle + Encourage + Clear mind + 2x randoms (hopefully 1st Aid as one)
        • Would Gentle be ok on this?
    • Skillset 2:
      • Healing Circle + Clear mind + Armour break + 2x randoms (hooefully 1st aid & Encourage)
        • Would Timid pet be ok?
          • If not, I'll use Justice
    • Skillset 3:
      • Healing Circle + Clear mind + Sweep + 2x randoms (hooefully 1st aid & Encourage)
        • Would Timid be ok on this?
          • If not, I'll do Justice
    4. How much are spikes an issue for support pet?
