Pet MD vs Staff

So i discovered today that staff ofcourse has terrible aspd scaling, but md gets twice as much aspd from agi, and scales eith int and dex just as well;
since base atk isnt an issue, is md a better option than staff for a pet?
I guess what i'm really asking is if staff modifies a pet's skill multipliers for skills like magic lance or shot

 

I guess knuckle could work too with their obscene matk scaling

 

pets don't get weapon boni for skills.
their weapon is the basic starter weapon of each kind (Rod, Bow, Heavy Blade, ect.) with according Weapon Atk, range and Stability.
Power multiplies the Weapon Atk, so a pet with staff and 2 Power will have 20 Weapon Atk.

which weapon is better depends on what you want to do with it.

edit: my bad, power adds to weapon atk, it doesn't multiply

 

Oh that is strange ill look them up on cc, and about the atk range uhm
If you're using magic auto, will the ange be the same for all weapons? (knuckle vs staff)
I didnt know until recently that pet auto atk range varied

 

Also is the Corynclub pet stat calculator wrong then? Cuz it just gives 1 atk/matk per power regardless of wep

 

Boop is weapon attack not shown on the stats screen? Cuz chariri here would have 73x10 weapon atk

power adds to weapon atk, not multiplies it.
