Pet Trainer's Equipments?

My Questions about pet trainer's equipments:
1. Since the recent update, there is a new armor which is Oriental Robe that gives 10% pet exp bonus stat, combined with the Ring of Happiness (I only know the Indonesian version name, correct me if i translated it wrong) which also gives 10% pet exp, so we'll get extra 20% pet exp in total. I think it's worth to make a new build for that since I need to level up a lot of pets for a series of fusions. Do you have the same idea as I am? or is it better to just go with FC Armor and do faster bosses fight runs?
2. I am an archer player, all my chars are equipped with bow and arrows except for my BS Vit. I farm with Archer LUK using Sunrise Arrow and don't like mage for low level farm since I prefer buying low level farm stuff than farm it myself. But since the Oriental Robe and Ring of Happiness doesn't have Critical Rate stat, should I use a Mage Now?
3. If I go for archer, then I'll build the Critical Rate like this:
- Base CR 25
- Passive Skill 5
- Weapon 20
- Normal Crysta CR 5 (Armor)
- Bear Hat 15 (Additional)
- Seele Zauga 15 (Special)
Total Critical Rate 85
With food buff lvl 6 16 CR I get 101 Critical Rate. So what do you think?

 

A Tamer character isn't much different than your usual CF build.

You can have all the necessary skills from a dps CF build and still have enough points for all tamer skills. This means food buff isn't necessary to get 100 crit unless you are going to level up your pet while equipping Oriental Robe.

If you are planning to use Pet Heal and Pet MP skills, then bow is still better because of weapon bonus on casting time. If not, then mage is fine.

 

I thought I was so unique for using it while everyone else uses CF

About your question, if you're in party, then yes, that's a good idea using those equipaments, since you won't notice a big difference on killing time vs your normal equipament, unless you're the one carrying your party. When solo, you should compare time it takes when using your common equipament vs pet leveling ones, if you can do fast enough even with pet leveling equipament, then you definitely should pick it.

 

Ikr, I used to use HB Luk. But in the middle of my confusion of how should I build my HB I decided to stop wasting spina & time into other class builds. Then I decided to build sunrise char which surprisingly so much better than HB Luk in my opinion, it farm so fast and 1MP combo makes it spammable. HB have more damage tho but it overkills..

I see, so I will make those pet trainer equipments but in action I will decide which equip should I use. It's cheap anyway, just need 500k for Seele Crysta and Normal Crysta CR 5.

 

Bows and staves give cast time reduction on pet heal and pet mp charge. As a bowtana i get tons of crit and focus my gear on -aggro and phy pen. If i am able i will get the oriental robe to help my pet grind faster.(this pandemic stress is killing me i find it hard to play.) As a solo grinder i let my pet or my merc to tank while i deal damage mostly undisturbed. Food buffs is also great help specially high level dishes.

You can use other weapon of course, but it always depend on your playstyle on how you make your kill. I have seen pet grind faster with dw tanking as pet try to keep up while they absorb exp. The faster you kill the faster the grind as always.

The 30% exp bonus comes up frequently when you feed your pet with 100s normal food, so I don't bother with pet exp gear. The 100s food won't fully replenish your pet's stamina if it is completely drained, but if you have several pets or fodders that need leveling (or are able to turn your attention to tasks other than leveling pets), it kinda works well. I feed the 100s food, and if I get the 30% bonus, I hibernate them until I have a chance to work on them. If I don't get the bonus, then at the very least their stamina has been bumped up.
