Physical pierce avatars and dragon tooth

As we know Dragon tooth skill from halberd skill tree has %100 physical pierce. But, does it mean physical pierce stat from avatars or xtals don't affect to dragon tooth? What will happen if I gather more than %100 pierce? Just nothing or still affecting?

Edit: I tested it out with %100stability answer is yes. Here is vid.

 

It means, you end up damaging the next boss.
Any damage over 100% pierce begins to hurt the bosses relatives.

 

If you use it on a colon boss colon, will get hurt too

 

Or at the times when you fight the same boss again, its hp is lowered a bit. The same reason why our runs get faster and faster over time. ^_^

 

careful, it might cause an arithmetic overflow and heal the boss instead of dealing damage.

 

i thought this was real for a second because thats honestly just something suzuki would do at this point
