Piton Wristbands + Volgagon?

So they released npc Piton Wristbands which means we can get c202020 215 atk knucks (80% stab)
and volgagon xtal is like 20% crate + 1000aspd

is that the move or nah?

 

Great question. The powercreep is finally catching up with Tonfa, but i'm still not ready to refine+double pierce another set of knucks quite yet... maybe see what new statting potential is available once the 200 bs skills is released

 

Hopefully the skill next to carefully creation is increase 15%-20% weapon attack when created.

 

this will help 2h and halberd more than knuckles and further widen the power gap.
adding a flat amount would be more fair.

 

Whatabout Thief's Keys? doesnt seem that powerful but kind of a good utility Agi6% Dodge12% Aspd24%. That with yelb and volgagon as well as yashiros dad would make for a p fast char

 

more faster = more prorate, so your party can spam their combo without ruining the proration on the monster.

 

EDIT: Confirmed! T4 piton knux + T4 arm (and some other stuff) can take a brawler to 10k+ aspd (still need QA and speed pot buffs though)... Watch this space!

I think this month can cap to lvl 205 which we can get total 300 stat on AGI and +82 potential for Piton knuc?
Maybe this can help you increase your ASPD/ATK further more ?

I recently switched my knuck/md from Tonfas to statted Piton Wristbands and I saw a pretty noticeable but not major improvement in damage. However with Tonfas I did use meikyo to compensate for the crit rate loss which would have reduced the damage a bit ^^;

 

Thanks for the input. I also think that tonfa has (only just) been caught up by player stat weapons, but the real bonus is the ability to swap out previous gear that was crit-heavy, in place of more aspd

The debuff from meikyo is honestly fine (it only reduces 8-10 cdmg depending on str stat i think), but previously i found it hard to go burst mode and spam chariot with it due to mp issues. Also that defensive debuff always worried me too...

Anyways, I am looking forward to my first proper trial of this... that vid was recorded using my dw char only

 

Ah yes I totally agree ^^; I had some issues with MP usage as well even with resonance. And that ASPD you got is insane! I’d love to see how that looks in battle. Mine’s personally not too ASPD focused aside from what I get from AGI so for me Piton Wristband allowed me to focus on getting more ATK/CD which is also a nice option!
