Player Synthesis Guide (v2.1)

    I belive tops will be 5 options, and with 50% at lvl 10 skill level and maybe lvl 150 Proficiency level.

    2 option synt 100% success.

    Okay... Unfortunately I decided to restat my char, so it has 18 tech on it now, so I can't reference the based off my last comment. From my experience, I kept the armor I was going to dye but lost the armor w/ dye. Idk if there are other results im case of a failure of synthesis, but most likely it is the same theory as it was on Iruna.
    Changing a 2nd option halves my success rate. Before restating, I did not pay attention to the success rate at all, so I got no idea what it is like with no tech points at all. But at the moment, w/ 18 tech on Character, on Skill lv1, I am able to get 96% success rate on 1 option change. W/ 2 options change, I get 48%...
    Not gonna mess with this guy as an equipment synthesist anymore I guess. It's supposed to be my Int BS from now on too.

    Therefore tec does affect success rate at lower skill levels.

    Question for solid confirmAtion....So its totally 100% success.. no fail when using synth in alchem skills?

    No. it depends on your prof, tec (to be confirmed) and skill level. read through the guide and the comments leading up to here, you will understand.
    asobimo will never make it easy for people to synth. else why would they implement a crazy spending on NPC? as a player synth, they will definitely put in some form of difficulty. i.e. player blacksmith, success rates are never stable compared to npc blacksmith.

    so i hope this is solid enough for you bro:
    NO, its not 100% synth

    it may be possible for skill level to add a % of proficiency, and for tec to add a % of prof per set of tec (i.e. every 10 tec = XX prof (im assuming it works like novice bottle?)
    so those with high tec allows you to have less skill pts used, or you can level skill to max, and have less tec (assumptions)

    or max it to skill level 10 and high or pure tec for higher success rate for 3-5 options customization during synthesis equipment.

    otherwise those who planning to stick to low proficiency level with high tec can have lower skill level to save points.

    So I did some simulations on a sacrificial graph notebook (R.I.P 17 pages lol) to see what it would take to fully costumize a gear w/ the least number of options. U need 2 sets of gears w/ 2 identical features, and profLv100. Example:
    Armor A: Aqua Garb App, LimeB, GreenC, clean stats
    Armor B: Aqua Garb App, GreenA, GreenC,Ooze Armor stats
    The options you will be choosing to keep will be DyeA DyeB and Ooze Armor stats in this case.

    I hve lv 61 alchemy+refine
    Tech 172
    Prof alchemy 55++
    Lock 2

    At lv 60 (no skill point left), im struggling increasing my alchemy lv to 65 so i can unlock syns item lv5+... after reaching 61, Now ihave lv1 sysn item alchemy with 2 Lock, And my succes rate 100% (always). So im stopped leveling my alchemy again lol

    Anyone know why??

    What item have you been synthesizing? Is it still Damascus Steel? It's going to get tough once you are far above the item level. I suggest start trying your hand on making Mythrils and Fine Mythrils.

    I made rev3 n vita plus 2, damascus also but to expensive... im going ro reach 100(i hope)

    Btw my question is. Why my synsthesis equipment at lv1 have 100%succes rate (always)???

    @Samm Im at Prof 87 now... And I ain't getting much exp any more, 1% or none, I need to make Fine Mith now, if people can provide the matts, I will return the results, all for it to check if at lvl 100 we get the 3rd Lock option.

    here is my Tech char (Alchemist, refiner, and Stat Upgrader) at lv61 with skill synthesis equipment lv 1 (dont hve enough point to add more)...

    and when i do some synthesis test, with 2 lock anyway (sallet app + forehead stat),
    always 100 % success rate (never see any downfall on success rate even when synth some dyes, armor or weapon)...

    so skill level dont affect success rate at lock 2 this time,,
    maybe when lock 3 or above or after future update, success rate will lowered at skill lv 1...

    oh yeah, at this time i reset my char stat into:
    - 72 int (for easier leveling until lv65 or mybe lv70 after update)
    - 100 tech (for make revita III easier too)
    - and my success rate still 100 % with 2 lock...
