Problems with Venena

So, I know this is a total noob question, but how in the freaking heck do I clear Venena?

Hear me out, I play a Halberd sub dagger (Lv114), with Str>Crit. I have relatively cheap equipment, and I rely on guild mercenaries whenever I can't solo clear something.

My fight with Venena started out well, I took aggro and dodged the lasers while avoiding the balls and pillar things, and cleared the first HP bar pretty fast. Then, My damage dropped to ones and zeroes. I wasn't taking too much damage, but I didn't really feel like spending 2 hours clearing a single boss one damage point at a time. Skills and critical hits didn't do very much damage either. Eventually, a laser hit me while I was using WCOS and I got KO'd. What went wrong?

Do I not have enough armor break, or is something else wrong with my build?

 

How to Venena Coenubia 101:

- Clear the pillars first.
- Deplete Venena's HP twice.
- Go back and clear pillars.
- Kill Venena.

If you have too much trouble you can play in easy mode.

• At first Venena's Ho is locked, break the pillars.
• Then deplete Venena's bar once, then again, till it shows locked again. This is probably where you are getting 0 or 1 damage.
• Don't attack Venena then, attack the pillars. Mind the Lazer.

You'd think they would have explained it somehow.
Oh well, that's MMOs for you.

 

Yeah every player had trouble starting out but when you notice the patterns and eventually known what your doing it all comes by easy once you get the hang of it
