Processing mats

Hi am new and wanted to know of I should process all mats that I get from farming and killing mobs?

I just processed for the first time and was just curious if I should be selling these items or processing them.

Also, what are xtals?

 

Process only what is worthless or what you don't want.

xtal = crysta. What a crysta is told by synthesist on main quest.

 

Xtals are a way to enchance your equipment stats if its have slots.

 

Is there a way to add slots to equipment?

 

You can pay other player to pierce your gear.
It's rather pricey so consider doing it when you don't have any other options to enhance your character.
To access it go to character > equipment > edit crysta

 

Ah so it is a job/trade skill. I will look into this.

 

1) Crafting or drop equips have a chance to have slots on them, depends, there can be 1s or 2s
2) Players can pierce ur gear for you, as one above said, it's a price-y method so unless the equip is op or something for long use? Dont (2s) pierce it
3) you can get pierce for yourself via orbs too

Freebie orbs are from event and shards, and extremely rare. You get most orbs from buying them with real money.

 

What are shards and where can I get them.

 

Wow that's a lot of orb shards.

 

it took her a long time to collect that many. In my opinion, the best use of orb especially for non money player is on more storage and character slot. Maybe some for revive droplet when the offer come. Piercer and extract can ultimately be bought via spina.

 

When you say storage do you mean shop storage or backpack storage?

 

it means both but its better to invest in ur deposit storage rather than bag storage cuz in bag storage u get 1 slot per orb whereas in deposit storage u get 5slots per orb
