Proper Shield Mage Equipment?

    Hello, I’ve been meaning to ask this,
    What is the best shield to be used for mage (setting aside coffin shield as I can’t obtain one atm)
    and what ring should I use? Plus is granny good for finale user? Thanks in advance!

    Imperial shield for the shield, 20% magic resist is great. Ring should be magic talisman IV, its better than philosopher
    ring. Granny is better than lalvada in terms of magic attack, the motion speed of finale would be a bit slower though

    It also depends on your stats, If you use dex as secondary stats, then lalvada might be better, I dunno about it for sure though. Lalvada gives me around 80 matk whilst granny 100+, but my stats are INT>VIT

    Yea, for anything that is casted(heal, aegis, protection, recovery, finale) it affects the motion speed

    It doesnt, -cspd only makes skills that has a cast bar take abit longer, finale would still be a 3sec cast time as its not affected by cspd, my old mage has -11k cspd and i didnt notice any motionspeed loss, things that doesnt have a cast time, protection, aegis etc, -cspd doesnt affect those, heal would be affected by cspd, cspd doesnt affect motion speed, only motion speed does, thats why i use godspeed wield on my mage so i can get +30% motion speed aswell as the smite tag, for shield, use a shield that gives more survival, and for the rest of ur equips, use a staff more for dps and then armour, add, ring, aim for more survival and mp
