PSA Cancelling the dive session midway(also a rant)

Is a retarded thing to do. Don't expect people to do 5k run always because there's always gonna be a bunch of afkers since toram is a cystpool of man childs. 4k is 20k points, it's OKAY. cancelling and waiting is a.. surprise surprise a whopping 0 points. Comprendo le retarded hosts?

Haven't read the other thread I assune the dive gets canceled due to connection issue, or someone needs to AFK iurns his device off long enough to d/c. I don't think much other motive otherwise, I mean it takes a while to get enough people in your room which requires persistence. So I doubt someones going to get bored and leave midway through. Likewise, if the hosts feels like progression is too slow, that is also contradicts above stated persistence as you will obtain no points, and you will have to take a while to join into another not room that'swaiting for players.

Anyways that's my thoughts unless there's some exploit or info. I'm missing that is advantageous for canceling dives midway.

Oh, and there's an issue with afk's, then while you're screwing 20+ other people, there is some moral justification for doing so. It's like farming mats. If someone is leeching, they're kicked, but you can't kick peoole in dives. Perhaps an idea to address to the dev. team?

 

The sharks will die right away/disappear when Kraken appears. So far the only marine mobs I've seen were the ray and that purple/rosa/pink stuff.

 

Don't worry, afks have already appeared in Japan server as some Japan twitter posted it. Will be fixed soon unless devs think it's not much of a problem

 

Actually I've seen sharks appear after the Kraken spawns, but only around 2-4 big ones. I'm not sure what causes it though.

 

Nothing we can do about afk. Underwater, we can't see other player's name, and there is no option to kick participant. If the dev would add these features, it will just add more bugs for them to fix.

 

This is only one of the many problems that may arise that can destroy other players game's experience. As long as there's freedom on trading, no life players that are relying on RMT will never stop terrorising the game.
OPEN TRADE IS THE ROOT OF ALL THE PROBLEM AND THE MOST BIGGEST MISTAKE DEVS IMPLEMENTED. REMOVING OPEN TRADE WILL FIX EVERYTHING

I kinda see your point. It really would be interesting to see how prices go if there's only market board to do trading. Cons is, you can't rent xtals now. But the way rumors are going with non tradables and avatars being sellable in the future i doubt that will happen :/

Well i played games that got no trading at all and players learned to play with it and enjoy. Maybe because were supposed to farm stuffs? But the trading system shaped the players to just buy stuffs relying on spina thats why many seek easy ways (scamming, using bots for fast/consistent spina, buying spina via RMT, .)
mods, etc.. But the only thing thatll be constant in this world even in virtuals are changes. Try to ask yourselves if they changed the game to complete no trading, will you still play? Can you still find a reason to continue playing? Do we play because we love it or because we can just cheat it? Are we ready to cope with imminent changes?

 

A game with no player2player trading is so cancerous when the devs don't care about the playerbase. Also, even with no player2player trading, there will still be RMT and tons of bots; I've learned from said game that they work around the no trading and use the auction board to do it. In other words: Nothing will change except annoyance for players. What should happen is the devs to actually take a look through the game and do things about the problem.
