(Qs) Evasion

1. I want to know if Reflex worth getting to increase ur evasion?

cuz I know it reduces def & mdef a lot and u shouldn't use it magic types mobs/bosses.

2. Many said that having high Flee/Dodge reduces the chance of Evasion being triggered in battles?

cuz Im having a question in my mind if it reduces the chance of evading why light remodel arms increase dodge & aspd and light armor mastery evasion.

I already test it but im not satisfied on the results so im asking for ur opinions

Reflex acts with your total evasion %. So if you don't have any evasion in gears it won't do anything for you.

Dodge rolls before evasion. If your Flee stat is so high that the mob misses all the hits you aren't giving a chance to evasion to trigger. You need the mob's accuracy to be successful (go through your Flee stat) to give evasion the chance to be triggered. See it as layers. Mob's Hit Rate (Accuracy) > Your Flee Stat (Dodge) > Evasion/Guard %.

so i think its up to me if i will get reflex and get rid of my agi to make my dodge/flee low

basically in my opinion, if u like agi stat (more flee),reflex is less effective.

if u like more to the evasion (eva not dodge) which stat is low on flee, reflex is good. but only and only if u put evasion in your gear (gladiator armor +10℅ eva, mole eye add gear giv eva also).

now i think we hav gear that can reach 50℅++ with eva xtal like forest wolf.. well with reflex buff im thinking all that can make eva (not dodge) up to 80℅ (need confirmation)

Yes it is possible. You can try it easily by equipping B.B. Garb light remodel with light armor mastery and using a Marble/Mirror Shield. Eva + Guard often.

 

All I have is light armor mastery 10.. For a 2h its main purpose is to let u swing faster.. Imo the added evasion is a bonus for me.. I use nothing else some how my evasion is off the chain idk why tho ^^ keep in mind just cuz u don't evade don't mean u don't have any guard .. Even if it's not heavy u have guard.. And if u are refined to c or higher u see it substantially ..

 

does it like dodge + eva or eva + guard is at the same layer

how about gladiator arm with mole eyes this too had the same stat guard and eva 10%

 

I already had this eva + guard build since i fight Goldoon cuz she can guard and eva attacks in that Mq battle

it just doesn't guard thats why i ask tnx a lot

 

it does not reduce the trigger chance.
dodge comes first, if the attack misses nothing happens.
if the attack hits, evasion and guard can trigger at the same rate as usual.

the unsheathe attack is triggered by guard and evasion, high dodge means less unsheathe attacks. but that matters only if all your gear is statted for unsheathe attacks. dual wielders also trigger unsheathe attacks after some of their skills, so there really is no need to decrease your dodge rate voluntairyly

 

Unsheath is a beautiful thing isn't it, n you have people say Goovua is just for dw's hehe I think that xtal will make a good sub ring for me ^^

 

I already thought about it and cant decide if i will get rid of my agi but the animation of evasion looks too cool so i wanna see it more than that Miss
