So I've seen some cool builds, using blade skill's increased c.rate to help proc spell burst pretty often, and with the adjustment to mcdmg I see str on magic with good c.rate to be actually useful. With anniv coming up and hopefully summer event, I think I should be able to make the elemental equipment for the build to be viable so I wanna give it a shot.
    Questions are:

    1) I know str is a given, to boost atk, cdmg and mcdmg, but then the second stat I'm torn between Dex or Int. Int pretty straight forward, boosts matk and at 200 it gives burst a +1 to the skill multiplier (Assuming sub md is enough and its not just a bonus to md main). Dex gives cspd so with 1k, just 4 impacts from phisical combo would allow an instant burst, but spell headphones gives 750 cspd so in that regard it isnt that necesarry. But then there's Element Slash's dumb mechanic of accuracy check (I hope it's a bug, like Iruna's summoning minimum delay of 2s on necros was supposedly not a bug and made all skills hard to use, but months later they realized they actually did f up and fixed it.) so I guess that's why dex is used over int. but there are also accuracy drugs, and playing burst mage already having to be drugged to be good doesn't really faze me. So Int or Dex?

    2) Meteor or Enchant? One requires less skill points to be dmg option and has i-frames, the other increases element dmg, is cheap mp wise but requires a few sp to go to unsheath boosting skills. I thought about leaving ench blade at 10 without using like 35 sp on dual wield, just to get the buff and beef up all my other hits and go meteor that just needs it to be at 10 + sword techniques at 10. So one or the other, or both?

For crystas I wanted to get those that boost both matk and atk, but considering my matk gain will be mostly my watk I guess pierce should be good so i'm not just pulling proration shenanigans without actually dmging high diff bosses. Thoughts?

I was also thinking of using Imperial for some extra dmg, but i don't like casting in close range which is probably where i'll be so, thoughts?

Also how should I stat armor, specifically which -stat to use (I'll assume dmg to ele and crit should be the positives since they affect both phisical and magical dmg).

My build right now is str 255, int 255, dex 40
Instead of enchant or meteor I use buster blade and imperial ray + ether flare. Both has 100% crit rate given I have the cat summoned and my MD is advantageous against my target.
Then focus on Crt damage boost equip.
    As for damage output, underwhelming...
I don't have upgraded equips but it is fun.

Also planning on changing from one hand sword to staff or knuckles for death stinger or the Kamehameha skill

Don't get your hopes up so high. Recently i thought magic warriors should be a crit mage support instead. You won't get anything good if you try to catch all the rabbits.

    1) str>dex is better. Just use sub md for various support skills.
    2) you can use any skill that you want. I suggest both for different situations. You also need to prepare different additional gears according to the situation. 1s additional is good enough.
The main concern is the combo. I suggest the mainstream impact > main skill (smite) > element slash (con).
This will provide incredible buff for your mage pt member.

    Thank you for the input!

I think I'll do Str>Int>Dex, for cdm and just use element slash + burst on low eva bosses and meanwhile on high diff I'll use Imperial for magic dps. If restart event rolls around sometime I'm probably gonna go crazy on this since I'm fine resetting any other build that doesn't require skill books.

If I wanted a support with md, I would use knuckle+md because it too can use ele slash and every other support skill, but faster. I'm mostly going for this build for the fun of it. I've tried most phisical builds and they're fun and all, but mage is just more my style. Everyone is dissapointed in mage and in harder bosses most people are pretty mage-cist and will mostly just get a cf, but I still find it fun. My burst is semi support and I like playing it, but there's a hard balance on supporting and doing dmg so I kinda just want something similar but different.

Also I like the concept, and I wanna play the game.

Now imma stare at smith guides and test at coryn's simulator a while to see what negatives screw me the least.

You can also try StrDex build then focus on Enchant Sword (Unsheathe) and Finale for MATK.
Finale can still do tons of damage even without Int due to their massive skill constant on the first hit.
