My synth char is lv51 Archer class
    Tech: 150
All skill lv10, except process lv1
    Prof: lv24 (63%)
    Difficulty lv: currently 100

From what I understand, 2 tech / 6 dex = 1 difficulty, but since my tech is 150, that would give me a difficulty lv of 75, so, where did the extra 25 difficulty lv came from? Does prof lv also increase difficulty? If so, by how much per lvl?

    One more thing...
I was told this archer char can now only be used for synth, because all stat points needs to go to tech...

So, Is it possible to build it, so I can still use the char to fight with? Like stat and skill point wise... I mainly just need to make hp potion and other support potion, where the highest requirement is difficulty lv80 for revita IV, can I just put enough tech to reach that difficulty, then pump dex?

Also, does difficulty lv effect equipment synth like changin color and such?

Thank in advence for any tips
    Cheers

I'm not sure about the prof level affecting difficulty but I do think that mixing up an archer or any other class with an alchemist is a bad idea. It results in low attack and your skills won't be as perfected as a pure archer character. Also, only the level of the synth skill affects synthesizing. Not difficulty level

Proficiency level affects your difficulty. 1 level = 1 difficulty.
It's how Blacksmiths and Alchemists would raise their difficulty without the tech stat.

    Also, I forgot to mention
My achemist (going full tech) I never use to fight with. She's full tech, so she can't be of any use, and I don't have skill points to get any useful skills (I'm level 66 at the moment) so yeah... as far as I've gone, no fighting with your full tech character.

You should get "Process materials" up to rank 10 so you can get more material points from it.

    Thanks for the reply
So does the tech stat increase success rate? Or does it only increase difficulty?
Because I don't understand why u need to max tech if prof gives 1:1 difficulty

It greatly raises your accuracy. If you only have the minimum required difficulty, you're going to fail a lot.
It also allows you to craft more advanced stuff. If you meet the difficulty required, you don't need to meet the proficiency level. You can craft it

So I don't really need to raise my proficiency in a hurry, as long as I have enough difficulty?

Well, yes and no. It depends on what you want.
You only want to make Revitas and support potions for yourself, I'm assuming. I personally wouldn't recommend that you just stop there and try to make your alchemist an Archer now, but it's up to you. You can, though I don't think you'd be all that strong by this point.

If you're planning on selling (there's some good spina in it) and/or doing 2-3 lock synthesising, you have to increase your proficiency as far as it goes and stick to full tech. Full tech characters are also great at refining and upgrading gear.

Since tech also give you MP you can use it as supporter/buffer or make it as tanker ( use HP boost+1k HP, Hero scraf+1k HP, Vita*potion +1k HP, Roga xtal +1k HP ) so basicly you already have 4k hp not include more with gear*use gear that give +HP not hp% or vit%

That sounds like a horrible tank. Supporter might work though. Might. Spam heals and run around when you pull aggro.... then again, heals work off of your stats (Bless works off Int, Mini Heal works off Vit), so it might not be all that good an idea either...

Buffer with some HP (4k I guess..) might work...

support skills like mini heal scale with the targets stats, not your own.
only bless from priest skill uses your own stats. but gloria (priest) uses the targets stats. protection and aegis (shield) raise resistances and are unaffected by any stat poits. (they scale with the monsters attack)
