Question about unsheathed

I'm new in playing the katana. My friend says I should use odel xtal on all my gears which gives unsheathed damage which basically boost most of its dps skills. Question is, does stacking too many unsheathed xtals bad? Coz I think I saw someone says so. Why though and does it have a limit to how much I should invest on unsheathed boosters? Does the same applies to the likes of srd and elemental dmg boosters?

 

If you love to play in party most of the time and then the answer is yes, those odelon/damage xtals will give you a lot of potential about damage boost on only low def bosses (E.g: skill A with 100000 damage with 40% unsheathe bonus so skill A will deal about 100000 x 1.4 = 140000 damage), but to the toughfy one, you have to make sure you have at least one armor pen additional gear (potum backpack, squirrel tail, love scarf, ice cape) and handmade cookie on it to maximize your damage output. About srd and elemental multipliers, they are just the same as unsheathe stat, nothing else.

And about the odelon xtals, I can say one thing, 1 odelon is very enough, the more odelons you use, the less utility it provides (always lack of ampr, especially to bosses that love to run away from your decoy), so try to mix with ampr xtals to increase your sustainability via ampr in combat so you won't run out of mp so fast. That's my point of view.

Srd% would serve you better, it increase both tenryuu and garyou's damage. Gravicep xtal gives you 7% srd with 200mp, though it has - 5 crit rate. I'd say use a spectre of death xtal for the unsheathe and the - %aggro, then use 1 or two graviceps, you'd need a crit rate food buff if you don't use a crit katana. The rest of the slots could be filled with atk% xtals. It's good to have a spare ampr ring as well when you need to complement your ampr.

Isnt garyou a placed skill?

 

The skill tree list doesn't say anything about it being a placed skill. Then again there's nothing about finale either.

Edit:nvm theres also one in finale's. Its said its unaffected by concentrate, lrd and srd. Just like storm
