Question bout BS 2h

is str>dex nuff for successful 2h crafting or is 30 tec nuff?
Just crafting high pot 2h, nothing else .-.)
Cuz its my dps 2h and l dont wanna drop that dps-y potential -w-; )..

 

The bigger your TEC the better, I'm not a pro BS personally, but if you want something you need to trade something else.
In this case, sacrificing Damage for the Ability to create good items.

Have they changed it? It used to be just full str needed for 2h and then tec, but str/dex was better because allowed us to craft full pot 1h and bows too.
And yes i recommend tec, i personally use 50 tec. Last anniversary event i was failing alot even with max proficiency so i added the 50 tec and reduced my dex and it helped alot, i still made full pot 2h but my bows and 1h lost a few pot points. I'm not sure if it's changed now and dex is needed for 2h aswell.

I was asking cuz its my dps 2h str>dex, so wondering if l need to include tec aswell..
Some say its useless n that only high prof(higher than crafted item) is needed..
But what if l dun have high prof @.@; )
I am dying getting to 150..

It's definitely not useless unless you call useless failing 20% of the time. Mine was capped last year with with full prof and I was using blacksmith equipment with dex/str to raise my difficulty and success and I was still still failing too much for my liking so I added 60 tec and it became what felt like a 5% fail rate and even with the lower pot bows and 1h I was still able to stat the newest level 4 bs stats.
But if it's your dps then yeah having so much tec would affect your damage a bit but it wouldn't be too significant, my halberd Smith has 75 tec and str>agi and my damage is still really good, feels like a normal dps but I've never tried with 2h so I can't tell.
It's for you decide i guess, I just hate failing and wasting mats when crafting, everyone of those fails could have been a chance at a decent or high attack weapon I could sell xD

1) Is prof necessary for success or nah?
Wasnt it only for ‘increasing diff’ ? Along the third row?
2) (First 2 nuff or all? For that ‘creat equip’ row)
3) Oh..n can a str> dex > (assume) 30 tec, be able to craft indigo jet -w-; )?
4) With 50 prof if necessary? (Too many sp wasted on first row, plz nu :’v)
5)..is there a formula to simulate the overall acquired diff(with/without tec, str, dex)

I'll just leave this link here. This video helped me understand a bit more. He explains all your questions better than I could.

Basically you only want high tec for anniversary weapons because they much higher difficulty but for normal boss drop weapons I don't think much tec is needed. And I'm mainly only crafting when anniversary event comes around so I prefer to have higher tec.
