    Periodically, Asobimo will publish a warning on the news feed that they'll never ask for your info.
    Also, as a general rule of thumb, no developer will ever ask for your personal information in game (or e-mail, and even then, you'd have to prompt it e.g lost password).

    I'm pretty sure they do it by sending a friend request while a player is not looking (usually looking at CB). After they sent the mail, they'll just cancel the request so you won't notice.

    How did I know? A scammer account like that sent me a req while I was doing nothing in front of CB lul
