Refinement failed item gone?

    I refined my Magic Crystal Armor for +3. After it failed it says "refinement failed and item gone". After that it's really gone XD
    I don't know if it's a bug or items that fails refinement can really vanished. Can someone explain to me please? I'm kinda confused, I just got that armor

    what refinement item did you use? did you use any support item(not really sure how to call this, but an example is the Anti-degradation potion, Magic hammer).

    I think you use the hammer 20% sucsses rate and if it fails your item is gone :/

    yes what I was thinking, tho I didn't try a magic hammer yet, so I can't really say magic hammer was the culprit in my first post. thanks, question answered.
