I played Toram since it was CBT (when most text was untranslated and there was a Kaiser boss from what I remember, I was like 12) and played on and off until when the level cap was 100 or something and just reinstalled the game again.

My account is surprisingly still here and I use a mage which definitely has outdated gear, so can someone suggest a good build that I can use to reference later? This would really help because I'm starting another mage character from scratch.

I noticed that spina also inflated a whole lot, and I have a lot of dyes in storage which I could probably sell. I also have a prime piercer for a bowgun, any suggestions how to turn that to spina?

Also... I'm surprised because theres suddenly 200 orbs on my account, and I used 10 already on storage. Any tips how to spend these? No gacha please, I have a decent amount of avatars already from god knows where.

Would also appreciate tips! Quite excited to play again because this game was literally my childhood.

most "best builds" i've seen are pretty short-lived and may die with each update.
just do what you want and find your own style.

some general tips that i found helpful:
    - your character can't do everything at once, decide on a role and focus on it
    - active skills require mp, only get what you need and raise skill level according to how much you use them
    - get passive skills that enhance your most used abilities
    - if there's no skill you need, save the points for later. some skills may come with many prerequisites, collecting them early before the skill unlocks will only waste points that you could have used elsewhere.

dyes can be synthesized with low-grade tradable equipment (player-crafted for armor) and put up on the consignment board.
for piercers there's a new system that allows you to offer their use on other player's items in exchange for spina, but you'd have to wait until someone accepts your offer on the spot.

there was an hardware incident where the game was offline for a while and most data was lost. they rebooted from a 3-months-old backup and gifted everyone 200 orbs as compensation.
    storage, character slots, bag expansion
don't rush. take your time to explore. the main quest doesn't cover every map, and reaches some maps rather late. if you explore on your own you may find some useful items that are not otherwise available at that level.

you can easily defeat main quest bosses by escaping from the battle and re-enter manually on 'easy' difficulty. sometimes you get NPCs to help you, but on those were you are alone it's definitely recommend.

    welcome back :)

@pointmewhere Imo the strongest mage now in terms of damage is staff md

Note : This is not how you will allocate your skill points, but rather focus your research on those skills with 10. ^_^

Why do you need magic warrior passive lv10?

Unfortunately, magic knife didnt increase nemesis stack & didnt trigger additional atk. In my opinion, nemesis only good if u take secret chase atk skill and equip duo additional book ring.

Passive is for the added matk and cspd.

Magic knife increase nemesis stack and trigger additional atk.

Devs failed to inform us that we need secret chase atk + actually need the additional atk in our gears, but ofc they already knew that we're aware of that. ^_^
