Skill rebalance 16/4/2020

    Yeah ik that this time they rebalance only unimportant skills, but every change is worth to take a note. Has anyone found anything changed? (About Magic: Guardian Beam and the ktn counter skill, not those skills that were changed to suit new evasion)

    About Slide rebalance, Slide is now 8m! Dope!

    Also, I can't find the rebalance log post. Does anyone has a link to it?

    Slide now more compatible with dagger and magic skills, nice tho at the same time makes it harder to use a same combo for dual purpose.

    Guardian Beam still has the same effect and conditions.
    maybe they did something to the damage or knockback distance, but i have no records from before the change to compare...

    ^ this is the new Double Stab.
    the old effect would hit twice on evasion attacks, which was useless because the damage was like Throwing Knife.
    haven't tried the new one yet, but it sounds interesting.

    Not interesting as it sounds. The buff only takes effect when you really "evaded", which means the blue "Evasion" indication appears.

    I see. That's great

    Just tested it. The damage increase after a succesful evasion is (!!!) +100% damage

    EDIT: I should probably clarify: Succesful Evasion = succesfully avoid an auto attack.

    My bad, I need to take my statement about evading aoes back, I can't replicate it. Looks like its only evading auto attacks. But I got the formula for the cooldown of the damage buff now: Time = 20 - Level. So 19s to 10s cooldown.

    someone posted 100% in another thread.
    makes sense for "double stab".
    so instead of just doubling the evasion attack, it can now double any dagger skill that uses mp.

    tried bouncing blade and didn't see any proration change. They must be changing the damage or the accuracy buff

    It’s a pretty sizable buff. Tho I don’t know if it’s enough to get people to switch to it. Besides how do you get the buff if your in a team fight and don’t have aggro?

    I know that I will. Mardula is a low def boss but that Gatling did about 1.4 mio damage while my Dt averages around 500-600k with stability. It will be hard to use in team fights though since you will be rarely targeted by auto attacks.

    I don't know if the damage formula changed, but it no longer causes physical proration, which is great because that was the main thing ruining the skill.

    I'm a bit annoyed that double stab does not activate when using the new evasion active skill. Yet flash blast does? It should be applied equally across all skills that have an evasion requirement.

    And now that we have an active evasion skill, they should rework back step on the assassin tree. Imagine getting +100mp every time you successfully evade an attack on both evasion and active evade XD.

    But, maybe back step should allow to better positioning for back stab, similar to shadow step. Allowing dagger users to get behind the enemy, rather that just ds. Who have no benefits for attacking from behind.

    I was kinda hyped for the revamp double stab but once again a would be good skill is ruined because asobimo has to put an unreasonable restriction on it. But that’s the norm here.

    +100% damage isn't exactly unreasonable tho I can see the reason behind dagger skill complaints.

    Daggers are unrefineable, do shit additional damage with passives taken and basically do garbage truck damage all the while providing access to a set of weak dps skills.

    Shields given damage resistance, are refineable, provide access to defensive skills which can allow you to either shrug off the incoming damage or pot through it.

    These are age old complaints which asobimo has yet to address for some reason
