It has evolved into meme stage. I opt for dual halb so it be vampire fangs instead of dragon tooth. I still root for dagger main even it turns out as 2h(there is 2 daggers in the icon anyway) full blown assasin ftw!!

 

Then lets take it a step further, dagger main with dagger sub.

Then lets go farther, a still tree that forgos the Armour and Additional equipment slots for more Weapon slots, murders your DEF/MDEF/HP/ASPD/CSPD but allows you to have in total 4 weapons.

Since this thread is for skill rebalance and halberd is the hot topic, i try to understand what halberd was, and this what i got from browsing on net:

-halberdier (halberd weilder) always uses his 2 hands when attacking (then why its not 2h weapon?)
-certain era that halberd is paired with specific sword as sub weapon (ohhh thats why it can be use with sub weapon)
-halberds are suplemental weapon of pike mens (yeah, they are know for "piercing" purpose)
-halberdiers are foot soldiers and not the one that was mounted (so yeah, they tend not to have shield not like the mounted pike men with shield)
-halberd is a 5-6 foot long pointed weapon with axe like blade attached and hook like on the other side of its axe blade (but some of halberds appearances looks like pikes)
-the purpose of its hook is to turn down the mounted knights (means piercing is not their only purpose but also giving disables or debuff maybe)
-even they are more on offensive front liner, they also the one who guard the matchlock musketeers(slow reloding gunner) (thats why they can go on rear side even though they are melee class, more likely a mid range type)
-they always wear heavy armors since they are one with the front liners (but sadly light remodeled armor is better than heavy remodeled armor)

* maybe they can adjust halberd skill tree to be a piercing type skill with a capability to defend/guard parties since halberdiers are truly front line knights

So GSW is kinda off (or they put it to aid some incompetences?) since halberdiers are specifically slow moving knights with high piercing power and mid defence & utilities
