Snipers reject!?

Good question. I actually saw Archers using +aggro equipment, Brutal Dragon cape, claiming it was for the mp. I was stumped.

 

Other than the cape what armor was the archer wearing? Brutal Dragon Cape does Have a MaxMP+200, But it also has a aggro +10% with Guard Rate +5%. Using Xtal earring would been a better gear despite it being used mostly by Mage.

 

Snipe spammer had the nerve to ask me why I wasn't doing my job as a tank and got agitated when he died I told him you take a lot of Aggro and he was like "what's Aggro" I LOST MY MARBLES. I don't hate snipers, I just dislike some. A lot of them I encounter don't even know how the move works, so instead of properly learning how to utilize it to optimal usage they just spam it hoping for high attack and attack rank. I've only met about 3-5 good snipers throughout my time of the release of the move..

 

It was probably a player who didn't know what aggro was. Maybe new player or he didn't know the basics of games. Snipe does attract aggro, but Archers/Hunters shouldn't be tanking. If there is no tank I get that, but if there is it's always expected for a tank to be a expert meat sheild.

 

True on that meat shield eoe. I was just agitated. I do need to work on my tank more, so I guess you could say him getting tank is partially my fault.

 

Ask for help on your tank I used to struggle with the same problems.

 

Well most player..just because they have high hp and defence they claimed themselves as tanker, tanker should do "provoke"always. Provoke skill gets aggro quick, max it to lvl 10 for 200 mp,and that sniper will shut up.

 

I think. The more we post about sniping the more bow gunner multiplies. Sad exp, i just did a 2k snipe with smite.and didnt get any on that ranking.shame on me T.T

 

i once met a really nice sniper.
we fought the forest wolf and i was using my paladin character.
first he used normal attacks while i moved to the wolf to hit it with my sword and shield combo to break it, then he used snipe to end the battle.
we each got our ranks and everything went smoothly.

 

hmm, I think there are some snipers that will not wait for an all break and just snipe till the boss dies. It wouldn't be as bad if he/she don't mind it, but I have seen some that kept asking for 'break' but yet not wait for it at all. Then at that point it feels like a Tap VS Kill thing to see which is faster.

But then again, this is more of a 'player' mentality rather than the class itself.

It's so hard to find good snipers like that. I always wait till the boss is broken, unless I'm soloing.

 

volg is easy to break, but still kicked. broke it while cast snipe

 

most all of you had experienced with snipers who dealed too much damage that not cooperative enough in party... here's mine.

i had some traumatic experience with snipers.

i was once went to Yorl Highlands, looking for Arcoiris hunt party, then i was invited to a mono sniper party(3 sniper).
i was the one who tank Arcoiris. (pure int mage, so... i'm really struggling there).

the things that broke my heart that it was my worst experience in boss hunting so far.
it was about 15-18 minutes just to kill 1 arcoiris.
idk what's wrong with that 3 snipers on my party.

even 1 of them leave the party on the midway of the hunting!
it's more looks like i was the one who was hunted by Arcoiris back then.
it's still traumatized me till now.

 

Nah don't be, you just had bad luck and was in a crappy party.

it was my worst hunt party in Toram

 

Oh trust me on this one. It won't be your last. I mostly do bosses with my guild since I know those guys are good and on top of their game. Most random parties I really like joining are just shelled mask or skeles, just for mat farming.

 

Too many sniper nowadays.
Sniper already exist on party of course. Then the lead wanna keep the team balance.
