Well infact it's not lame, you're opinion of it is lame. If you main katana and use an elemental set this is better than crystal lamina and anniv katana on neutral bosses. The 100 crit rate gives us no need to substitute armor and add gear for crit rate giving the option of pure damage and consistent crit since the release of modestia and dragon claw katana.
Sure it's a one trick pony on neutral element but if you main katana you will appreciate this, something you won't understand with you're lame and ignorant analysis of it. This katana isn't meant for ppl who have a katana character they use sometimes, so ofcourse it won't be beneficial to you. Wait till 5th anniv if you want to own one OP katana investing nothing else into you're katana character, but otherwise this katana is OP asf for the serious samurai's.

I for one will get it I don’t have a kat char as yet but I value +100 crt katana since it makes the build less complicated, so if they release a +100crt kat for every element I intend to acquire all. guess it depends on the rest of atk vs crit gear available to you.

for example, if you are also a hb main, you probably have a dps arm without +crit too, in which case this event katana would be better

you might also be limited to a crit add too (over traditional pure dps one) if you stay with crystal lamina...

I could be totally wrong but I do think his opinion is lame and perhaps mine is too.
But yeah 100+crit on all katana elements would be nice and I think a bit too op, people would start complaining and tenryu would get another nerf because us samurai's break protation for everyone else to get 80% attacker rank and people would start crying and feeling bad they spent 150m on a build but there dmg equates to to a 10m build.
Anyway I think I forgot one, that fire element from dad event that has 100cr, I don't know the name of the event or katana exactly but heard about it, sadly I missed out on that.

im too lazy to drag out the detailed comparison calculations for atk,cdmg,unsheathe,basic crit rate,basic stability,average overall balance,elemental advantages,bosses list,etc...etc..for just a simple recycled stat katana.

So.... this thread started as an aid to give players an idea what the rewards are to see how beneficial it is for them and then ended as a flame thread about a katana xdddd, riiight people. Wether it’s weaker or stronger than others isn’t important if someone wishes to use or not use it is a persons personal choice . So I suggest if you guys wanna continue this make a separate thread and post your opinions there .
