So .., I want to ask your opinion ...

Recently i just hit lv 140 archer ..,

and because i had no luck or whatsoever.., my gear really low and cant even take any attacker rank ..,

so im kinda want to reset it..,

and because im a magic hybrid maniac (yeah you heard me.., all of my thread mostly about hybrid class) ..,

i want to create a "Magick Archer" ..,

Stat :
INT : 255
Dex : Rest (about 108 stat)

and using the "Magic arrow" skill (Hunter lv 3)

is it worth ? to create experiment on Lv cap character ??

maybe it will became the first magic archer class thread if it success ??

I personally would flip the stats (Dex>Int) and run full AMPR gear with a bunch of additional magic stuff. Thats essentially Magic Arrow: Additional Magic and Raised AMPR for Archers and Gunners.

Tbh kinda reminds me of that Storm Snipe build...

Its fine when ppl mix 5x classes into 1 build.But dont ask if this can succes.Ofc it dont.
Just improve the power of 1 skill tree and dont mix magic and physicals together.

 

It wont work because bow doesnt convert its wep atk (wep atk from refine included) to matk which gives you a very low amount of matk.
Best chance for your hybrid to work is to use a staff + arrow as sub with 1 int : 1 str ratio, because staff converts its wep atk to both matk and atk , and the atk/matk : stat ratio is the most excellent there is.
1 str = 3 atk
1 int = 4 matk & 1 atk

 

the problem is that Magic arrow is Bow/BG only skill.., which is suck so bad..,

i really hope that that skill became no limit in future thou :"((

 

I dont think you should use bow hybrid just for a single skill , after all , that magic - arrow hunter is only a skill that boosts your auto-attacks.
There are other skills that you could also make you enjoy using hybrid staff like for example , using arrow rain + storm at the same and make the dmg ticks fly.

 

I'd say you're quite aware where you are lacking, even if you reset you would still need good gears. Now get those gears. ^_^

 

Only way I see to make Magic-Arrow work is by changing to a Bowgun + Dagger Magic Hunter, not Bow+Arrow Magic Archer sadly. You basically will be stacking additional damage gained from Magic-Arrow with Hidden Arm procs on auto/melee attacks and Amazing Throw procs on Dagger Skills. You also need to do a balanced stat distrubution of 1 Dex : 1 Int too.

 

what weapon combination would your run on this? bgxmd? Or just normal bgxdagger?
