Special effect of snipe

Snipe will bypass enemy flee, enemy evasion and graze if it is used on a blind target.
Smoke causes blind with bows at lvl1 it is 72% chance to proc, 80% at lvl5 and 90% at lvl10.
Smoke is very low chance with bowgun at lvl1 32%, 40% lvl5 and 50% at lvl10
But snipe on bowgun will still bypass flee, evasion if the enemy is blinded regardless of weapon.

P.S. I am just showing the special effect of snipe this is not a solo video as I used merc and buffs.

 

Okay so what if I use a fancy main weapon like say anything but bow and the target is blinded by say another player. Will snipe still tag him and do the subpar damage you didn't expect because y'know snipe but you're not using bow so damage is crap?

 

Yep even if someone from your party does blind you will still gain the 100% hit.
But yeah snipe for arrow sub is not that powerful anymore earlier snipe on arrow sub any weapon was same damage as bow and bowgun was 31% more than that damage assuming same ATK and CDMG.
But now snipe on different weapon arrow sub is the same but bow snipe is doing 25% more damage also no crit nerf either while bg still has the crit nerf it does 37% more damage than just arrow sub.
So snipes usefulness is bow > bowgun > arrow sub but hey I am not stopping you to try whatever you like lol
