Staff does melee attack

Hi

I'm a Lv 73 Mage using a Staff and for some reason every time i use "Attack" my character approaches the target and physically hits the target with the Staff.

I believe this is not the intended behaviour. Since i saw that the basic "Attack" with a staff is similar to the one with an MD, i.e. a ranged attack like in This Video at 3:07

If anyone could point me as to why this is happening and how i can fix it, it would be great

There is a build known as staff-fuu (not stfu mind you) best look it up.
Btw, it is power wave passive skill. It makes everything long range. Good for those hadouken build staff-fu.

It is highly recommended build for pet lovers that have support pets. Mostly a soloist build coz there is a stigma amongst power hungry parties of it destroying proration making them look weak in front of the chick they fancy. (Well, got to hand that to them. It is really hard to find a legit chick here. Most guys got good looking female avatars that puts most female players to shame.)

 

You got that right sometimes Male charcs are more prettier than female one

 

I can agree due to personal experience, when I make female characters my female friends are like “wow”when they see them, they always comment on how I make good traps xd (not that I intend to), however it doesn’t help that guys hit on me and just for fun I play along xddd
