Storm Bugs

So after farming nightmare crystals for 6 hours I noticed 2 bugs with the magic skill storm.
1st Bug
After the animation begins it would abruptly stop and not deal any damage. I was not flinched so I can't imagine what the problem is. This bug seems to occur more often when I spam MP Charge right after casting storm but still occurs when I'm not spamming MP Charge.

2nd Bug (Solved thanks to Alzarith and Tiggy)
This next bug has to do with a combo with storm. To solve the bug above I thought to put a combo with storm first followed by mp charge. The combo would sometimes not work at all and I would have to manually press MP Charge but other times it works just fine.
Help me please. I'm so annoyed by these little things. >.<

Referring to the second one, this is because if the target you're attacking dies your combo will end automatically.

 

1 - idk, but it happens to me sometimes too ._.
2 - mp charge won't activate if the enemy dies after you start casting storm, but before it finishes casting*
if it's not that, then idk why

*also applies to any skills w/cast time in any combo
i.e. your combo is snipe->moeba shot
you start using snipe on a mob, but someone else kills it before snipe casts. snipe will still "deal damage" to the dead enemy, but you wouldn't use moeba shot

 

Ok guys thanks for help on the combo "not actually bug". But the 1st bug is still so annoying.
