How to defeat Mozto Machina/Gwaimol ?

Guild Mercenaries/Accompany.
Magic/Physical barrier equipment or Neutral/Element Armor(Additional) recommended.

Is Star gems important to this mission?

"If you select "Use 100 Shards", a Star Gem with a randomly selected Lv1 skill (except certain skills) will be created.
If you select "Use 1,000 Shards", you can select a skill tree and put a Lv1 skill (except certain skills) on the Star Gem."

 

have you tried to play on easy? i did that the first time since i had noone to party with. not to mention mercs (unless they have insane amount of atk) become kinda useless at this point.

 

ignore gwaimol, attack mozto.
gwaimol is invincible in this fight

 

Mozto is crazly easy compared to ecb or tyrant, go do easy mode

Nuhuehehe, has any1 tried dragon tooth or garyou on gwaimol? They did mention this in another thread too, except def might be different from phy resist.

 

Gwaimol does more damage kills faster, moves faster than Mozto.

Mozto is Neutral i used GigaSpeed pot Aspd seem to cause more of my attacks to miss.

 

U dont need to attack a single time urself. 1 merc 1 accompany 1 pet is enough, like i said mozt is far easier than ecb or tyrant. Or u can try shouting lfp and hope to leech once

Aaand u talk like Abathur from Starcraft, dam its hard to understand

I only got a level 80+ companion , my main is only level90+ ,, level 100+ mercenary is from our guild
that comprised my party.

U can try getting a cheap lv1 stargem for physical and magical skill. Spam them at start of battle and kite the boss and the mercs will kiss no problem

 

I think I need armor Barriers >Addon > Special ring barriers.

 

If u wanna go barrier then u really need kiting (i mean run around not getting hit). The cooldown is 30secs? Whatever it is its too long not a good stat


And u srsly havent beat mozto? Heres another summary for u:

-Do the boss at easy mode. When entering the battle, the normal buttons to toggle difficulty spam LEFT until u dont see any circles.

-Get 1merc 1accompany 1pet. If the pet is weak forget it, but u need the 2 mercs

-Get a lv1 physical and lv1 magical proration skill. Either stargems or u add it urself. Spam it at start of battle and kite the boss, merc will kill faster. And get 2k mp too, or u can max throwing knife for 0mp spam

-Bring revitas. 20k spinas for energy bottles is far far enough for that. Normal people did it with 0 revs. Or just farm them dangit

-Or shout lfp and hope some1 will help

 

for mozto machina, make sure you either use 'warcry' to remove fear status

or

not flinch/tumble the boss so he does not give you the fear debuff

also make sure to avoid the skill shots especially on gwaimol and mozto machina, they kinda hit hard

Star gems are always optional, they may save you some skill points on your build if you buy/make them

E.g.
Level 10 Magic Mastery for mages you can get the stargem for like 5~7m for level 10
this would save you 10 skill points that you would've otherwise allocated on the said skill
p.s.
having Level x of the said skill does not overlap or combine with stargem level (no, u dont use level 5 stargem on ur level 5 skill to get level 10 total, u gotta have level 10 of the said stargem)
If you wear a stargem of level y, and have a skill of level x, the skill that has a higher value (max[x,y]) would be the one that counts
