Support skill Vs Rage attack for pet tank?

which one is better to generate aggro if both are devoted ? I know Rage has description "to generate much aggro" but how much is it?

 

The following is for DEVOTED pet only:
Aggro is MP cost x4, so Encourage, Clear Mind, and Rage Attack (all 100 MP skills) will generate 400 aggro per cast, BUT Rage Attack also gets an additional 100 aggro per skill level (for a total of 1400 aggro at level 10 Rage Attack).
[divide all those aggro numbers by 4 if the pet is not DEVOTED].

 

Ah thank you so much, so generally rage is much better for generate aggro, but unfortunately it's a single target, or am I on missconclusion?

 

Exactly so. If you find yourself attacked by multiple mini-bosses, for instance, you would have to attack each one of them in turn, so that your pet would also attack, generating aggro against each of them.

My heart would go out to a pet in such a situation. If I had a heart.

 

Pet's support skill can do agrro on ALL monster that attacking you.
So, it good way to have both support skill and rage attack.
