Hi guys my IGN is makOi I just want to share my Experimental Build which im currently liking since with the new cap people are looking for Tank for Forestia farm so i decided to make one coz im bored with my DPS Mage.

PRO'S
Can deal decent amount of damage by using Combos
Fast to Recover MP thru "MP Charge"
High MDEF / Medium PhyDEF
NEVER MISS!
Good For Fast Killing Main Bosses
Have stun + expose break spit for 5secs
CON'S
Loss some dps if Combos got interrupted (Flinch)
Need proper positioning/execution on using Combo's
Low Guard Rate
Requires Healer/Pots when Tanking Multiple Boss

Plate Mastery Lvl10 (Increase your Guard Rate i found this effective coz i feel like im guarding most of the time! im just not sure with the amount it gives so i assume maybe +10% Guard Rate)

Priest Skill Tree (I chose this tree instead of shield tree coz this one gives more defense even if its not noticeable but hopefully they fix it)

COMBO SETUP:
Combo Set#1 Assault Attack > Shield Bash(CONSEC) Magic Wall (SMITE) > Gloria (CONSEC)

HOW TO TANK/SKILL ROTATION:
EX: Forestia (Beware of his dragon breath (knockback) or whatever you call it HAHA)
Manual Cast PROVOKE then if you see him about to use the knockback skill dodge it first (careful sometimes forestia do twice) IF you see him charging to you. You can Execute Combo (Assault Attack > Magic Wall (SMITE) > Gloria Or MP Charge. (Optional: Manual Cast Magic Arrow if you feel like to DPS)

I am a dps mage (full int) and i still end up being tank from time to time.

But this one is very interesting though...how much hp do you have without the xtal?

Most of my equipment does not have a slot so... i doubt that my hp will be as high as your

 

Without xtal i have 2.8k hp. With r.golem xtal have 3.4k hp.

Btw... I Do NOT Recommend You For Using "MP Charge" As 3rd Combo's Chain When In Fight With Forestia... You Will Knockout A Lot... I Can Guaranteed That. And Nice Guide! ^-^

 

Yea im using gloria instead of mp charge.
Regarding with the chain cast the reason why i have this is when im on dps. Arrow then execute combo magic wall will take the effect.

 

Im actually trying out something if im going full vit. Il be removing the offensive skills from magic and remove chain cast replace it with mini heal and get shield bash and parry. So when im tanking i could just provoke > bash > heal myself when needed but with this setup i dont have any dps so it will slowdown my boss runs. I dont want that to happen.

 

Oh, I Get What You Mean... But For Me I Will Make 5 Character All With Pure Main Stat Such As "Warrior"(Str), "Gunner"(Dex), "Mage"(Int), "Brawler"(Agi), "Paladin"(Vit). I WILL Make This Build Once I Has 6th Character Slot. But Dam, I Need 53 More Orb Shard To Get It... Which... Is Impossible Since I Already Finished 100 Friend Emblem Reward...

 

lucky you... you got the 100 friends emblem. mine is stuck at 99/100. i keep getting "you have reach the limit or the person that your adding is already have reach the limit" until now there is no fix for this.

 

Lol I Know What You Mean... That's A Bug And The Resolution Is Try To Delete 5-10 Friend And Add Other Ppl. That's Mean You Have To Do It Again But That's How I Done It ^-^

 

i tried that multiple times, deleted 5 or more. well i guess il just keep on trying.

 

Btw You Might Also Want To Make Your Character Just Like Mine Because You're Interested In BS Right?

 

I already made a bs its lvl 50 atm. Pure tech. Just for refining and putting stats on equipment.

 

That sounds really interesting, i am planning on creating a Magic Knight, but i think ill take the option with a bit dmg because it will be a pain to farm xp if u dont have wall

 

What stats have u got on ur armor and staff?

 

IM using npc bs crafted plater armor. For staff depends on what boss element weakness is to gain more dps. Or staff with 34+ pot add stat +4 vit +3% hp -2% dodge

 

Just a question. Im actually doing thing build right now, but im trying to edit it with my playing style. Im planning to use 1h Sword Instead of Staff. Would it be fine if go add HardHit(1) instead adding Assault Strike(1). Just to get the Flinch to disrupt boss skills?? TIA for the answer =D and GREAAATTTTTTT GUIDE BTW

 

I Strongly/Highly Advise to stick with your Staff because if you switch to Sword you'll be lowering your DPS coz 1 Stat is +2 MATK for sword while Staff is +4 Matk plus it has better MP Charge time than the Sword. Leave the flinch thing to a breaker class dont bother as long as you can tank/dps thats already enough.
