When you went solo farming, the first thing what you need to look for of for efficient farming is the mobs spawning spots location. The spawning spots is the location where mobs will spawn after it been killed. Here is the example of one of the famous spawning spots.
In this picture, inside of that room are one of the spawning spots for skeletons. As you can see in the mini map(where arrow is pointing at), all the mobs(skeletons) on this map are inside that room.

The combo that I am using is:
    IMPACT→STORMlvl10(CONSEC)→MPCHARGElvl10
Well this combo is what I call the ultimate solo farming combo as no mp been wasted unless the combo got interrupted because your target is too near to you. So basically you can spam this combo infinitely without needing additional charge if there is no interruption. And one more thing, this combo is useless if you are in party at the same spawning spot.

Now there are few reasons why I'm casting my magic from the outside of that room rather than inside.
    • To make sure that the mobs stay inside and never be able to sneak out from that room. This is because there are MAX LIMIT on how many mobs you can have in every map and this too is also true when you are in party. After you kill the mobs, it will start to spawn in rate about 2 to 3(just guesstimate) mobs per seconds. If you let the mobs out from that room and they start roaming around in another location, then you will have less mobs to kill in that room because of the limit.
    • If I cast my magic in the room then I need to focus my screen toward the room entrance to make sure I'm able to target the mobs that try to running outside but this action will trigger another spawning spots(goblins) on this spawn area(spawn area is different from spawning spots and this will be describe later on). The spawning location is activated by near your standing location and also where your screen view pointed at. Priority in spawning is where your location is and few in other but by time, the mobs in your location will become lesser and this is still because of the limit effect.

The second thing of what you need to look for is the spawn area. Spawn area is a place where the mobs are visible to you. The moment you leave this area, the mobs in that area will start dissapearing. My example for this spawn area is by using Land of Chaos map.

The reason why I'm using this map as example because of the difficulties of farming chaos stone. In the picture, the blue one is spawn area while red is spawning spots. If you look at spawn area A, this area is being share by three different mobs so we should just ignore this area and move on to the B area.

For area B the reason why this place is difficult to farm rutin because many of this mobs like to jump off of the cliff and if you chase them down the cliff you will be leaving area B and the mobs will disappear. Even if you climb up again the rutin won't spawning much because you are in the combination of area A and B. So the solution is either you went to Yorl Highland map and then back in again or you go to the green X location, wait for a few seconds and then rush to the spawning spots. If you have a long range weapon attack(10m or more), you can just shoot them at the green '>' location. When no mobs can be targetted, go back to X and repeat. And this is how you use the spawn area as your advantage. When the mobs count getting low, just go out of the area then go back again.

PS: My result on skeletons is 1stk of wandering spirits in half hours using normal mage(no luck stats) and blue jelly at Debacky Channel near the Athema exit is 3k of Med pts per 15 minutes. Hmmm, I wonder if this is a good result?

The conclusion, just follow this 3 rules:
    1. Know where the mobs spawning spot is.
    2. Suppress the mobs at that spot while minimizing activation of other spawn spot.
    3. If the mobs count declining, leave the spawn area for a few moment and then repeat back number 2.
