The Gun Fu Guide: "Martial Sniper" [High DPS Hybrid] (Lv110 Cap)

Question, will this build stand on pure str instead of pure dex first since you're using Triple Kick as main anyway?

This build is full DEX first because the main weapon is bowgun. Each point in DEX -while equipping a bowgun- will increase your base ATK by 4 points (sometimes by 5 points due to Shot Mastery acting as an increasing percentage of the total base ATK). After maxed you can either go for STR to add Critical Damage and Stability, or, go for VIT to improve the tanking. I always like to leave a free space in my builds to modify at will so that every player can still keep a build different from the others'.

 

It's really shows how bad brawlers are when other classes can abuse everything they have and with no real cost.Rip brawler main hand users.Even Precaria wants you all dead.Asobimo will not miss you either.

 

The very best thing everyone can do is just post their own game play / combo/ idea but never tell anyone you own them. This forum is for everyone. I'm pretty sure you signed in to give comments, and "share" your knowledge.

Getting a lot of likes and acknowledgement from your readers here doesn't give you the right to "OWN" anything you write on Toram Online / ASOBIMO.

I wanna try this (and hopefully improve my breaking skills lol) X3 Been wanting to add more martial skills on sniper but too scared to experiment

I sympathize with the brawler mains also, if my bf isn't one, I already made a pure brawler character too-- that and full vit builds are my favorite tanks in party ^^

Thanks I'll update some details in the next days, since the new Lv100 gears seem to be much better than our typical c999's, now I'll need to retest the optimal gears for the build. Anyway, as a Gun Fu you can still use other bowguns, for example in my Nurethoth video I wasn't using the Revolver. I got a special bowgun for it. An EBG with Light Element, Critical Rate +9 and Damage to Dark +7% refined to +E, a gun made exclusively to farm Nurethoth and Demon's Gate, plus High Quality Wood Arrow. The build works well with crafted gear too and I'll add those details when I'm less busy. ^^

 

Can i use bow with this build or the damage will greatly suffer?

 

While you'll generate the same aggro, you'll be dealing less damage and won't be able to use the "breaker mode" combo with quality since bows can't exploit the increased breaking rate of martial skills (bows can't equip knuckles as sub) and that makes Bow a wrong weapon for this build. Only bowgun as main will succeed with it.

There were supposed to be a main class.The agi scaling,and their other moves was never fixed till today.It's obvious that the game is poorly balanced towards archers,and that the moves of archers are completely ,inherently better than brawlers and other classes.It shouldn't be this way.They need real nerfs to their tanking, breaking power and cast speed.They don't deserve to be everything,especially with the sheer safety of range.Anyone could have sworn that Precaria must be providing some form of "special service" to the toram staff.It's been months and nothing has been done about something so obvious.As it has been mentioned before,why not just rename this game "Archer Online."

 

1. I have a full VIT knuckle tank, no Impact, 100% brawler with guard/knight skills and it works wonders in maze. Far more useful than any archer tank who needs to kite around. A brawler locks the bosses in place and allows all storm ticks to hit without loosing aggro.
2. I can see you are insinuating that I pay some sort of bribery ("special service") to Asobimo, but that's not true. FYI bowgun snipers suffered an unexpected decrement of Critical Rate -25% 2 weeks after I published the mana saver combo aka. "infinite sniper combo" and it went viral on YT. They didn't like it and now we have this crit penalty, which favors the rest of the classes PvP-wise because we won't crit so easily. I'd say the game is more of a "Swords Online" than an "Archers Online", just count how many sword users you see per single sniper.

Finally leveled up a char and tried it out for myself.

Theres one alternative combo id like to share, its probably been made by someone but anyways here it is:

Meoba shot> smoke dust(save)> snipe(smite)>impact(consec) >triple kick(smite) > paralyze shot(consec)

This combo makes the most sense for me, since it allows u a pause in the middle if the range does not allow you to activate triple kick. I believe this pause is needed as it allows u to avoid red zone atks and lowers the revita chugging. You can finish the combo by not shooting (avoid red zone) and approach the boss to triple kick range

Added bonus is you also gain a mini snipe spam combo (in red) which costs 100mp first cast and 50mp on consecutive casts due to impact. This could potentially allow u to recover 50mp each time due to quick draw!

All in al its pretty much the same combo as prec's but just triple kick and snipe swapped places and meoba shot initiate(for the range).

 

Super nice! I'll try your version of the combo and might add it to the OP as a variation -if the damage is still good overall-, I do think that 50MP Snipe possibility is very genius despite its 70% damage.

 

Are you sure Asobimo isn't just incompetent? I agree with you on everything else, but it honestly wouldn't be worth anyone's time, let alone Precaria's, to bribe Asobimo into over buffing certain skills. The design intention from the beginning of Toram to now, has always been laid in a crappy direction balancing wise.

I'm honestly, hoping your trying to be cute. Especially with that "Swords Online" garbage, like you don't know what he means.

I agree.. after updated, i saw lot of people like to use sword (fu) than archer, especially for new players.. for some old players that i knew, even don't like the damage dealt of archer now, they said better sword even with normal (original status) gear.

 

A sword tank is still more efficient.The crit penalty is not a big deal.Your video made that very clear.Your combo can make that brawler meaningless.It isn't literal,but the point is that you are contributing to the FU to brawler mains.You expose a balance issue that was never fixed but glorified.Even the FU builds started with infinite snipe.
