which is better.
full dex or dex 150 crit 50
and wht does crit add?
i have seen a snipe with dex 163 crit 50 and his damage ae far more superior than mine which is full dex.

any idea?

hey precaria I'm in desperate need of some of advice,
so I'm really struggling to get high damage snipes. Im following your Ultimate Sniper build, and my equips are
WBG+7 cdmg% +4/ crate +8 Ganglef xtal
High-quality Wood Arrow (also have the element arrows)
Armor Cdmg% +4/ crate +8
War Helm (boss) Warmonger Xtal
Dex Talisman II
Im full dex and i can't get past 30k snipe with the combo Impact>Snipe(smite)>Smash & believe it or not my record snipe of 42k was with the mana saver combo. Ive tried using auto attack for 7-10 seconds like i read will help and my snipe still didn't get into the 30s, even in a party of all mages spamming storm my snipe still wasn't reaching high numbers.

Does Anybody have proof of STR increasing stability and crt dmg? I'm scared to up STR stat

 

• WBG with critical stats (with Ganglef or Mauez)
• Light Remodeled armor with critical stats (with Roga)
• War Helmet (with Warmonger)
• Dex Talisman II (with Mauez)

CRT adds critical rate and critical damage but his damage could've been superior due to other factors, not necessarily the stats.
I've never battled a 3:1 ratio DEX>CRT sniper to check dis/advantages between builds.
If you can point him here, I'll happily arrange a 1vs1 with him to prove which is better, if full DEX or DEX 3 : 1 CRT.

The proof was shown on a thread by NineArts, a lot of us saw it.
And "Full DEX > STR" (as the Pure Sniper build states) means you max DEX first, you don't allocate stat points on STR until your main stat is capped.

I think arts also dug up something that stats STR improves stability for bowgun, but the stat-to-stability ratio is so terrible I didn't pay much attention to it. 20STR for 1 stability if I remember correctly.

 

Yes that's correct. Stability 1% = 20 STR ; Critical Damage 1% = 5 STR.
Say you have maxed DEX to 256 and have 100 stat points to spare. Set them on STR and you'll get: C.DMG +20% and Stability +5%.
I'd better go and set those 100 stat pts on CRT which will increase my damage and ALSO my C. Rate.

What is better for ultimate snipe? C888 arm or a Crit Dmg 4% and Dex%4.Im thinking if i will buy c888 arm or dex4% and crit 4% arm.
